    Diagon Alley Soft Opening Watch

The cover over the area doesn't seem to be designed as one continuous cover, more like the central glass and supports are one piece, there's a gap, and then the sides of that, and then the extreme side covers/panels and their supports seem to be yet another unconnected piece which is leaving...

Picture of the Day - Orlando

Haha thanks. I about had a heart attack when I saw the stats the night I posted it. I think maybe I need to start doing more actual wildlife photography. Maybe stalk a bald eagle nest or two (several active ones in the area, one flew through the apartment complex two weeks ago!).

    Blackfish (The Tillikum Documentary)

Glad to see SeaWorld defending themselves a bit more. Personally, I defend them because of what they and other similar institutions do to inspire and educate. If it weren't for growing up with SeaWorld and the Columbus Zoo both an hour from home (two of the finest zoological institutions in the...

    What do you shoot with?

Definitely a solid choice on the NEX-6! I get to pick up my shiny new a65 tomorrow morning! Hopefully the battery is at least half charged so I can go camp out and test it out with the Christmas parade at Magic Kingdom.

That's an awesome shot, Roodles. I've gone back to nosing through a few of my old Cedar Point shots and seeing if there are any I can give a little bit of a boost to. Here's one of them. Race for the Sky by Michael, on Flickr

    What do you shoot with?

Cool, thanks, that will help me narrow down my choices.

    What do you shoot with?

Hockeyman, you may have already mentioned it, but what model Manfrotto beast of a tripod do you have? I'm going to be getting a new tripod for Christmas and am trying to steer the direction towards a larger one so I don't have to worry about over-extending the crank extension on my current one...

Picture of the Day - Orlando

I bundled up for this shot, and will definitely be returning to the park with my winter gear for more shots at some point. A Cool Trio by Michael, on Flickr Does anyone else expect the three penguins on the right to just start snapping and do a scene out of West Side Story after you look at...

    Photo Editing Software

Is focus stacking something you could do fairly easily (i.e. at least partially automated) in Photoshop CS5? If so, I may play around with that for some ideas.
