The cover over the area doesn't seem to be designed as one continuous cover, more like the central glass and supports are one piece, there's a gap, and then the sides of that, and then the extreme side covers/panels and their supports seem to be yet another unconnected piece which is leaving...

Haha thanks. I about had a heart attack when I saw the stats the night I posted it. :lol: I think maybe I need to start doing more actual wildlife photography. Maybe stalk a bald eagle nest or two (several active ones in the area, one flew through the apartment complex two weeks ago!).

Is focus stacking something you could do fairly easily (i.e. at least partially automated) in Photoshop CS5? If so, I may play around with that for some ideas.
