Okay, I understand this rumor has been going on for over ten years. It resurfaced recently and I felt compelled to look here to see if anyone had heard anything similar.
Many of you may be familiar with the Six Flags rumor regarding a park in Hernando County. If not, please see the link...
Completely with you on that one.
I agree with most others too, it is a poorly managed park. I just hope that through all of this they find a way to turn things around. BGT might not be appealing to a lot of people, but as an area resident I value the tourism money it brings in as well as the...
June 23rd - This day was full of it's ups, and it;s downs. It was that part of the trip for my wife and I to have some alone time. My wife's mother graciously made plans to keep our daughter from Sunday to Tuesday night. I did a quick check to see what the best place for breakfast may be that...
Hey everyone! Wanted to share my trip report with everyone here. I am going to break it up in to multiple parts to make reading it easier. Thanks ahead of time for reading it. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it. I realize it's a bit extensive. It's filled with a little bit...
First off........... LONG LIVE THE KING :kingkong:
I must say, this is a fans dream come true to see Kong make his return. It does surprise me though, given Universal's pattern of introducing rides that correlate with current block buster hits. It's very left field for them. Great move on their...
It was the package deal through the Universal website. I looked at every scenario for our trip ( Which starts on Friday  ) and it was the most affordable. With the package we get: 4 nights, 3 day park ticket x 3, two passes for city walk, free full breakfast at the three broomsticks...
Not sure on air but I found the best deal for hotel/park tickets to be Universal's packages. Three of us going. We are staying at the Holiday Inn across from Universal for 4 nights, each got a 3 day park ticket, and lots of add bonuses for less than $750. And this is during peak season.

This thread will never get old. I have so many fond memories of Universal over the years.
The best being my fifth grade field trip. My mom was a chaperon, and she let myself and two friends ride BTTF by ourselves, as much as we wanted. The other kids in my class were jealous. The good ole days
That's what we chose. For my family of three ( 2 adults, 1 child ) we picked the Holiday Inn across from Universal. With the package we got: 4 nights stay, 3 - 3 day 1 park passes, 2 City walk passes, free breakfast at the Three Broomsticks, early entrance to Islands of Adventure, discounts on...
I looked in to the Hard Rock for my trip later this month. I want to say that even with the Florida resident discount the rate was $200 - $300 a night. Really steep IMO. I know it has the fast pass benefit but wish I could have found it a bit more reasonable. Unless someone here knows something...
Great, will make them right away.
Side note, since meeting my wife I have started eating much cleaner. Wonder, since its vacation, if I can convince her on a trip to the Whopper Bar. Anyone know if they still have the 'Angry' Whopper?
Thanks guys, these are all fantastic ideas. After this, we will definitely be having dinner at the Italian restaurant at Portifino, Margaritaville, and Rising Star. Anyone recommend reservations? Will be doing these things Sunday and Monday night.
