Starfall, testing and dueling.

It’s probably nothing, but the new Borehamwood Sky Studios hosted a school holiday cinema last year. It was a strange thing for them to do but sold out multiple screenings in minutes, maybe they do it themselves.

US people probably can’t listen to this but the most interesting comment is around the weather. Page talks about how the weather in the UK is actually good for a resort, as we do don’t have the extremes of heat or cold that you can find at the other resorts. ‘Same amount of rainfall here than...

Were suggesting 5 lands, which may seem conservative but I think it’s likely. Plus waterworld is literally just the show, it’s not really a land.

4 IP worlds with an original land is likely to be the perfect opening and ready for future expansion. You have to think, they need to add to this park multiple times over the next 10 years without removing anything, then we likely have a 6 world park. I picture a layout reminiscent of Epic...

Given what we’re seeing at Epic, I’d expect to see the covered areas of the park very well intergrated. I don’t expect to see everyday standard covered structures. This is going to be a park that is the only Universal park most people will ever see. We’re in for something special.

Many reasons but for starters awkward layout, the core zone is ideal for starting the resort and the lake zone for expansion. Although I was expecting the core zone to be flipped so the TH and CP are in the middle of the resort.

Whilst it’s not detailed, development is mentioned and with the need to shuttle guests from Wixams I think it’s a given. ‘An upgraded Manor Road, to tie in with new railway bridge being delivered by Network Rail to replace the Manor Road level crossing’

PTSD of working with Shrek. It will be interesting to see if the trademark for DreamWorks Tours SAL is renewed next year.

I wouldn’t be so sure about Dreamworks. I’ve heard things that seem like they are at least tightening their reins around the use of the IP in the UK. Given it’s an internal property it’s highly possible we would hear about the development for this later. Saying that I’d rather minions.

I believe the general thought is that the individual tickets for each world idea has been dropped. EDIT: Dropped is probably the wrong word, but I don’t believe general admission will be an entry ticket and 4 world add-ons. I’m sure it will be used in some capacity in the future but for other uses.

Trying to be realistic this is likely deep dig work for surveying the ground conditions etc Although the other side of me is a giddy little child. Also this has been a great account for coverage, worth a follow if you haven’t already.

Just one more note, because it’s being said elsewhere this is not the start of construction, that would require proper fencing and warnings. It’s also not land clearing, that digger is clearing a path for the concrete barriers. This is simply to keep out vehicles, caravans… etc.. Exciting...

They will need to file for change of use before they can move ahead with any prep for construction, as of now they’re just protecting their site with non permanent options. Although if the tree clearing mentioned is correct I’m surprised we haven’t seen anything for that yet. They might be...
