They've now begun sound testing in the area from what I noticed today (it was mostly just new jungle ambient noise).

The big thing I'm wondering about is just how expansive will Universal's contract with Nintendo be? Will the contract grant Universal the theme park license for ALL of Nintendo's properties or will it grant them only the license for the "big four" properties?

If Universal still wants to do SpongeBob, I could see them ripping out Animal Actors for it (provided that Nintendo isn't taking up that space). Though the only problem is that Bikini Bottom would clash pretty horribly with the nearby Central Park/Garden of Allah theming.

So the whole idea of a SpongeBob ride is basically DITW now?

If we ever do get Metroid, I think it would work almost perfectly as a replacement for MIB (as much as I love the ride, it does suffer from the problem of being thematically isolated now). Or better: Zero Suit Samus. :sneaky:

Dunno if it means anything, but just the other day they removed a bunch of trees from the Trike Encounter entrance and put up a small planter wall.

I'm pretty sure building Toy Story Playland would just make things worse. Those rides have extremely low capacity, which would make them quite the nightmare when it comes to the WDW crowds. Regardless of what it is, I really hope they get a replacement in ASAP, as it'd be terrible if this ended...

Oh yes! Though a lot of it was simply based off of circumstance, as back in my kid/teen years, the job my mother had called for all sorts of business trips...which obviously made for some of the greatest summer vacations I've ever had. Though right now I'm still just hoping that I can save up...

Islands of Adventure, followed closely by EPCOT Center, then Magic Kingdom.

There's room to put it in without removing Impressions. Although that expansion pad is supposed to be saved for a future pavilion, I think we can all accept at this point that a new pavilion ain't happenin' anytime soon.
