    SeaWorld Orlando's Christmas Celebration 2016

We just came back from their Christmas Celebration, and it was wonderful. Not to miss are O Wondrous Night (live animals in the show!), Winter Wonderland On Ice, Sea of Trees, and the Christmas Village. The Village also has some additional live entertainment, such as a "Jersey Boys" type quartet...

    Universal’s Superstar Parade

No one knows what the Hop floats are about, but the little ones LOVE Dora and Diego.

    Dollywood!

True, but they aren't like the rides here in Orlando, more traditional amusement park rides, instead of theme park rides. There's nothing like Transformers, Pirates, Gringott's, Jungle Cruise, etc. Doesn't make the park any less fun, because I love those traditional kind of parks.

    Dollywood!

We were at Dollywood on Monday. What a wonderful, lovely park! Also, the emptiest I have ever seen a theme/amusement park ever, and I loved it, even though some things were closed, including Lightning Rod, most of the day, but I'm not sure I would have ridden it anyway. The shows at this park...

    Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

Went there last night for the first time, and thought it was really fun. The drinks are expensive ($21 for one mojito and a non-alcoholic beverage in a souvenir glass), and I've had better mojitos, but I'm a wine drinker and not too much into cocktails. Loved the atmosphere, and it was a fun...

    Disney Springs Discussion

I was there last night with the husband, first time since April 2015. It's very pretty, very sunny with little shade, it was quite crowded, and it is essentially a mall with good restaurants. We went in a few stores, and the one that really surprised me is called Francesca's. Saw a gorgeous...

Skull Island: Reign of Kong - General Discussion

I rode it Sunday. 1. Who the hell is Mike West? 2. I don't remember any AA on the trucks. 3. It really is pretty incredible and immersive, but we did miss the outdoor portion due to weather. 4. Having ride issues on a brand new ride is common-FJ broke down ALL the time when it first opened, as...

CityWalk Orlando Updates & Changes General Thread

I don't like to cook at home, so why on earth would I pay money to go to a restaurant and cook my own food? Those places are one of the stupidest restaurant ideas ever. Fondue I can deal with, kind of, but grilling your own meat? No way. Vivo is so far above Olive Garden quality it isn't funny...

    Mardi Gras 2016

I don't know, in my little area, people weren't shoving past me, but I'm a hard ass and have been doing this far too long for that to happen. It will be a day that lives in infamy in my department, like One Direction, grand opening of Hogsmeade, and every single Pitbull concert there's ever been.

    Mardi Gras 2016

Thank you. I got thrown into concert after my production shift ended early. It was insanely busy. I appreciate the appreciation, lol.

    Bread Box Review

I had lunch at Bread Box yesterday, first time in a long time, and since no one has posted anything, I thought I would comment on it. Things have changed a bit, and for the better. The sandwich line up is about the same, the prices are the same, but all sandwiches now come with french fries, so...

    NBC Sports Grill Brew

I wanted to eat here for lunch yesterday, but it was closed, so I ended up at Bread Box. Another day, I suppose.

    Next Attraction To Go?

The rumor that Twister is closing has been circulating for a while now, and was *allegedly* supposed to close after HHN LAST year, and it still stands. I wouldn't count on Twister leaving any time soon, but I could be wrong, I just can't imagine having 2 attractions down at the same time, along...

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

Universal had Diagon Alley completed in 2.5 years, there is no excuse for Disney to take 6 years to build this, none. Clearing the land NEXT year? I call bullshit.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

What I want to know is, will Disney have this done in my lifetime? I'm 54, and I know how slowly they work, and I am a huge fan of (well, the first 3 films anyway) Star Wars, have collectibles from the 70s, and was a sci-fi nerd when it really wasn't cool, like it is now, back before all these...

It appears as though the turkey burger is off the menu, bummer.

I want one!!! That looks really, really cool!

    Most Overrated WDW Attraction?

Space Mountain Paris is phenomenal! That launch through the roof, total darkness, inversions. Still a head banger, but soooo much better than the one here. I would love SM if it wasn't so damned uncomfortable to ride.

What Park Needs the Next Big Thing?

OMG, PLEASE do something with Toon Amphitheater, it is just this big empty space that sits there, unused, but for a few days a year. Another show, knock it down and build a dark ride, something, ANYTHING, other than an unused area that has been this way for about 15 years. I'd rather see this...

    Cowfish

I ate at Cowfish for the first time on Thursday, so I can now say I have eaten at every venue in CityWalk! I thought it was good to very good. My friends ordered the parmesan truffle fries, which were pretty delicious, and something I could eat as a meal, with a salad. I had the turkey brie...
