Screamscape just posted a speculative blurb that a Jekyll & Hyde might be filling in the old Latin Quarter space instead of a Mexican restaurant. Anybody have any info?
What IOA might have been....maybe?
Listened to an old podcast featuring Jim Hill of Jim Hill Media talking about the original plans for IOA when Warner Brothers was in the mix. He said Marvel and Seuss were going to be Metropolis and Gotham (can't remember which order) and that Looney Tunes...
I REALLY miss the Hitchcock exhibit. You'd first go into a pre-show theater to watch a 3D montage of Hitchcock classics...the "Birds" ripping through the screen was a nice finish. Then you'd go into another larger theater where they'd show the how-tos of making famous Psycho scenes in the vein...
Love the Minions, but agree it doesn't make sense to have two separate DM areas. Agree too that an all-ages attraction makes more sense than another kid-zone. With Warcraft the movie due in 2016...a tap-in to another large, devoted fanbase?
Would love to see both Shrek and Twister go. Haven't done Shrek in years. Twister I like, but can't stand the LOOOOONG preshow...snoozeville. The only problem with Twister ever going though is that RRR butts up against it, so they'd either have to close RRR during construction or find a way...
Pay 10+ for what amounts to doggie food on cardboard nachos at Tortuga Tavern in MK and you'll find $13 for what looks like a really tasty, well-maid pizza reasonable.
Great pics!
Well, overall I was impressed enough to consider it better than standard counter-service food...try the beef nachos at Tortuga Tavern for example...Alpo and Nachos is more like it! I haven't tried everything yet, but with the exception of the Korean BBQ Tacos (a bit too rich and salty for moi) I...
Speaking of staff at Epcot...a guy was allowed to come into the ride theater at Ellen's Energy Adventure with the lights off and the vehicles undocked. Doors don't lock?? If it weren't for us yelling at the guy to get the heck out for his own good, the CM wouldn't have noticed. Sorry, not...
I totally agree. I was resistent to a lot of the changes happening at first, but after seeing what's been put in and what's to come...I'm so stoked. Just don't touch ET!! :boxing:
I'm surprised it doesn't have a bigger presence then. A store and a parade float are nice, but a whole land would be mindblowing.

I do remember the early episodes being really fun to watch so yeah definitely...if they can pull of Springfield, why not Bikini Bottom?
Awesomeness. Was blown away by the whole experience. Didn't expect the food to be as good as it was and certainly didn't expect the themeing to be as immersive as it was. Love lowered-expectations...they make surprises possible! ;)
