    Disney's Hollywood Studios (General Discussion)

Disney ignored the parks for decades, and are in the middle of an unprecedented spending spree. That, along with their glacial construction, and ai think folks are crazy to think anything new is coming for 5 years or more, perhaps much more.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (DHS)

Great idea. No one else will possibly think of doing that!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (DHS)

Every ride that opens has the DizNoids saying it’s going to be super long, and really break the mold. Every time they are completely wrong, to the surprise of no one who isn’t super biased.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (DHS)

IMHO, it’s not their biggest IP. Classic Mickey is their biggest IP. The new Mickey shorts are a flash in the pan IP. They didn’t make a Toy Story MM using the animated character designs for a reason. I think the ride will forever get reviews about the bad look of the characters. I wouldn’t...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (DHS)

Of course not, they are all CMs, and paid “Social Media influencers” at this point. This should be news to no one. The character models are a horrible choice.

    Plenty of drops without seatbelts.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (DHS)

Don’t forget,”some people hate the Mickey et al character designs used.”

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

I mean, would it be so damn hard to make blue milk taste like blueberries and raspberries, and not be chalky? I guess they don't want a big line clogging up the area.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (DHS)

Which Ratatouille did you ride? You move from one screen to another, sometimes through mildly themed rooms. It, like MMRR, doesn’t squinch much since there are multiple cars. The “2.5D” can only begin to work if you are still

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Doesn’t matter if none of those BGs are called.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

I assume nothing is being given to those with unused boarding passes anymore. Especially with those numbers. This is why I HATE having to have your phone for entry or anything important. Last night I went to a concert. There wasn’t even an option to get a hard ticket. Then I forgot my...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Only hardcore fans would do that. Without knowing when you return, few would go all the way to another park, walk all the way in, get in a line with no FP+ (always fun), and not know if they could get called when they are in the middle of an hour long Soarin or Frozen line. Getting around WDW...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Yeah, odd there is nothing about that.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

I assure you, I've been on forums longer than you. I never said this ride doesn't appear to be a true E ticket ride. Something Disney rarely builds in the US anymore. However, I still stand firm that it isn't groundbreaking. Marni on Magic is saying that. I agree with his opinion that the...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Shouldn't you be on a Disney site saying how you cry when you get off FoP? I haven't ridden it, or watched POVs, but this ride is not some undisputed king. It's a true E ticket. If you are a US based Diznoid, this may confuse you, as you may not have ever seen such a thing in your life. But...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Huh? The MK building is ginormous. I imagine you will enter HUGE rooms themed to beloved MARIO Kart track worlds, FULL of projections and physical props. Mario Kart is likely a true game changing ride. RotR is more of a culmination and of dark rides, with a few relatively minor new...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

If that's right, there isn't much wiggle room. That would be perhaps 12,000 people who are queued in boarding groups for the day. I've got a bad feeling about this...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

I bet there aren't THAT many people in all those boarding groups. They likely have a lot of very conservative assumptions in there. So, if the ride does, miraculously, run well, more slots will open up. I get that they don't want a 10 hour line like Universal does, but at least people in...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Am I the only one finding it EXTREMELY odd no reviews have hit Twitter? I find it hard to believe tons of CMs have ridden, and nobody has has made a fake account with full spoiler reviews.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

Gee, someone has been saying the ride would be 4 minutes for Months, as others kept saying closer to 6 or even 7. Yeah, it’s pretty hard to get much more than 2000 people through a queue in an hour, just walking into it and moving forward for others to enter.
