Okay, here's my thought process:
North Station would be on top of the South deck. The train would come down over the pond to give that Jurrasic World feel to it:
The train would run parrell to the interchange to avoid reengineering the bridge then jumps back in the middle of road before...
id say at $10 an hour for a 12 hour (peak season) day is only $120 for your scare actors on a merchandise selling attraction. Shouldn't be too bad. They can just sell 6 plush figures and pay for it. lol
Okay. I had to rethink it since I was putting the land closer to the intersection of Destination and UBlvd. Red would be new overpass. Yellow would use the existing. I just don't think yellow would work because that would drive 1000's of cars right by apartment complexes, a college, and a...
Thanks for taking the time to illustrate that. I see the blue one happening more likely. I say that because most of that that land (sought of the interchange) belongs to Lockhead I believe and they might be able to get the rights to put a rail next to their perimeter road. That also puts the...
I was thinking about that. I doubt they'll depend on their current I4 exit for the new land. They are currently widening 528. They can divert the traffic to 527 then either:
A: have them exit on the orange wood exit which is only one light away
B: have them come down John young then turn on...
I didn't even think of that but I agree. The city helped foot a bill for a nature pedestrian bridge. No way will they not pitch in for a monorail. Despite the fact that it's Universal's, any transport system will increase consumer mobility over that I drive area
That would be a beautiful sight to see. Thank you for making that. It would be one long arrow that's pointing the way to Universal. One thing Uni would have and Disney doesn't is an I4 grab. Imagine drivin down I4 and seeing Uni's skyline, a 200 ft volcano, and then a long flashy monorail.
One...
Can you imagine seeing people whizzing by on Rockit making the train arm motion. lmao.
But seriously, I want them to come out with a monorail. Uni likes taking stabs at Disney, this would be the best opportunity. "A Highway in the Sky 2.0"
I never get bothered only because I don't ride with the 3d glasses on. The screen is blurry so it doesn't phase me at all. When I ride Shrek, I know the spider effect is coming but those air hoses still freak me out. Put me in a temple at Kong with any large bugs and I might jump off that bus.
I thought that cost was largely due to the land rights, building of all the stations (including footing some of the cost of attaching it to some of the hotels), and the tech for the POS.
Universal's should be cheaper because it's probably going to go through the center of U Blvd and will only...
I've ranted in this on the annual pass holder page on Facebook (along with the stupidity of not having plastic passes). I agree with you in this issue. Now that I live in Orlando, I work until 530 ish and don't even try to go Universal's direction after work. I'm used to them closing early on...
I love world showcase as is. Keep the rides in future world. Just make sure the rides are from the future. lol.
