We loved Port Aventura back in 2019. We stayed at the then new Hotel Colorado. Only one coaster was brutal and y'all know which one that one is, yet it was beautifully themed with vineyards even.
That's all great and good when money is cheap and easy to get. That's no the case anymore. It's expensive, if you can get it in a tightening credit market as banks are stressed as is.
This is anti climate change post but I'm in my 50 years on Terra Firma in Arkansas. Climate continously changes without fail. Weather is no more extreme now than in 1980. What's changed is a cult tornado tracking community, vastly improved radar detection and post storm surveillance and many new...
I sure the answers I seek are in the previous pages on this thread. But... On the urging of my wife she decided I needed to take the kids(21and 20) somewhere. She decided since I had 4 days off on the on the backend back end of our 10 day 5th Anniversary trip at the first week of Oct. I sure...
Everything about Puy du Fou is awesome. I've personally seen the shows in France. Insane. The WW1 walk through trench in France was fantastic.
We are eagerly waiting to let this build up a bit more and going to Spain again to visit it.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely, we took advantage of our fast passes to not stress about beating the crowds. The crowds were into park early. It seemed to be a huge regular day crowd. WaterWorld was on par with the shows I've seen at Puy du Fou and Efteling. We saved our fast passes for most...
All I'm going to say is that I'm glad I decide to spend the extra money for the 2pm Express.
I've been to Disneyworld between Christmas and New Years and wasn't that crowded.
It is too expensive
We could do it, but it is an obscene amount of $640 for two people vs $240. I'd almost go for VIP for just the Sun Nite and skip any daytime only stuff. I think we are going to try the game plan laid out for 2pm entry and if we are just not enjoying ourselves, slow down...
We discussed this. Our flight in is to Burbank with arrival at 9:35 am. I figure we are in our rental by 10:30am. (We are flying Southwest which is in meltdown mode right now). We did not want to do Universal on a Sat nite from years if reading this place. We were going to work our way down the...
Thanks. Is there time for some Dufftoberfest in the beer garden and a sit down meal. When do the eateries close up?
We are eating at Bob's Big Boy for nostalgia sake around lunch near our hotel.
Our Monday is completely open, we were think Knott's during the day. Suggestion, HangRimenbeing...
I tried to sell my Wife on letting me spring for After 2PM Express tickets last night for my visit this coming Sunday. She wasn't having it with the massive difference in price compared to the regular after 2pm tickets. We are from Arkansas and have just one attempt at this event. At what time...
My Son and I are flying in from Northwest Arkansas on Sat Oct 16th. We plan on hitting up HHN on Sun. This a special trip for him so I don't mind dropping the cash. But which is better, the 2pm entry with express or the VIP tickets. We'd like to do the stuff not open at night. Is 2 to 6 enough time?
Having rode Taron 12 times in my day at Phantasialand last year, it is a phenomenal coaster and didn't nees an inversion. The launch onto and uo the face of the waterfall and feeling the mist from it was fantastic. I hope if it shares anything with Taron, it is the launch toward a waterfall.
Comcast is about to take a serious bath with this park, I hope they aren't in too deep. At least they aren't Disney, they are in way over their head...
Not to get political but we are at 1938 all over again, Hong Kong is Czechoslovakia and Austria and Tiawan will be Poland.
I am blanking giddy that the prices for cruise may be drastically discounted may move an Alaska cruise to late this summer instead of next year.
I'm FDR on this
I wonder if an indoor/outdoor Water Park would qualify. Like Rulantica at Europa. I know they have the Nature place, I stayed there for two nights but that is small.
