Summer of 2015 we went back down to Universal. I had lost about 40 lbs putting me around 340. Even with the 'old school' push I couldn't got the green light outside, or on the test seat near the loading platform. I did get to ride the majority of lap resistant rides though which was a plus. This...
I agree! I would love for people to participate on here as well! I've done the walk of shame many times (only rode FJ once) unless it's happen to you, it's hard to explain that feeling and the answer just isn't as easy as 'stop eating so much and work out'
Good Evening! We have created a group that's focused losing weight and getting healthy for our trip to Universal and Disney.
We love the parks and want to connect with others with that same interest. We just want to give an extra layer of support to all that need it.
Its 'Weight Watchers' in...
Hello! My wife and I had our Keys to the Kingdom Tour this morning and it was spectacular! It's amazing all that goes into the Magic Kingdom. If you have a chance to take the tour please do, it is well worth the money. It is 5 to 5.5 hours of walking pretty much non stop (you do stop for lunch)...
Well tomorrow we start our journey down to Orlando! In total I've lost 40 lbs and around 26 total inches since Janurary. I will post about our trip when I can, here's to hoping that all of the 'insanity' and running as paid off! Thank you again for all of the kind words!
My last weigh-in I was 306 with a 46. My last weigh-in will be this Sunday(we leave for Disney and Universal on Tuesday) a positive thing my 46 in. waist pants are loose. My original goal was to be able to use the regular seats so I could ride in the front row. I don't think I'll fit into those...
During my time preparing for my trip down to Orlando, I did a lot of searching for pictures of the test seats and the measurements of those seats, I didn't have any luck. (Or they were low quality) So next time your at the park snap a few photos of any rides test seat, post them to his thread...
That's true! I remember Alien Encounter I was really scared the first time I experienced it (age 6 or 7) Then when I went back to MK for my honeymoon I was looking forward to the ride then found out it got turn into stitch's great escape! I was quite let down, I never had the chance to ride 20K.
My favorite memory at the Magic Kindgom was seeing my wife get really excited like a little girl when the Disney Princesses stopped by our table during breakfast at the Castle. What's your favorite memory?
I would be in favor of Universal doing something big for their 25th. Normally we only go to the parks once a year, if they did something big enough we might make the trip back within the same calendar year!
From what I've gathered people seem to think the chicken sandwich was the best thing on the menu. Which I think is strange, a chicken sandwich isn't the first thing I think of when thinking about British style food.
I'm nervous about the ride restraints, I've heard they are tight squeeze for some of the bigger riders. Has anyone on the forum had an issues with them? Is there any difference between the front of the cart and the back?
Thank you for all of the wonderful suggestions! I have been following Diagon Alley since the scaffolding came off of the London water front. I know all of the pictures and videos don't do the land justice. We can't wait!
