    Universal Great Britain

Please delete if you don't allow newspaper articles here but hadn't seen it shared. All the articles I've seen so far seem fairly balanced between NIMBY and YIMBY. I thought the resident NDAs were interesting.

    Universal Great Britain

Heathrow is still a massive hub airport: globally 4th by number of seats.

    Iron Gwazi (General Discussion)

Doesn't make it round the circuit / stops where it shouldn't stop.

    Universal Great Britain

If it is genuinely new park then unless it is on a brownfield site I hold very little hope of anything not being NIMBY'd into oblivion.

    Moon Knight (Disney+)

Very mixed reviews for it in the press today. Can't wait to watch it this evening though.

    Volcano Bay: General Discussion

I'd love to know how they came to be built that way initially. Was Universal like "We want a splash pool" and ProSlide just went "huh, ok then" because it's Universal? Or did ProSlide get their sums wrong? Surely they'd be able to model the forces involved. For such a high profile project there...

    The Eternals

Watched it on Sunday. The plot was a bit obvious, but overall I thought it was alright. Would place it above Black Widow + Falcon/Winter Soldier for Phase 4 stuff.

    Behind The Attraction (Disney+)

I like the topic but the format of the narrator finishing the interviewees sentences is getting old fast. "The Movies That Made Us" on Netflix does it too. Just let the people speak!

    Spider-Man: No Way Home

AMAZING. Loved it. Wife complained about the pacing a little, but I thought it was great. Laughs, tears, and plenty of "OMG SQUEEEEEEE" moments. The mid-credits was a bit "oh, is that it?", but the post-credits trailer

    Thorpe Park - New Coaster

Underwhelming? Looks a bit like a shorter Steel Curtain? 30 - 45 second ride time?

Merlin's Thorpe Park are announcing a consultation for a new coaster project tomorrow (Friday 10th December 2021), due for construction to start towards the end of 2022 Rumoured to be in the "Old Town" section of the park that used to contain the famous "Logger's Leap", it is meant to be the...

Universal's Epic Universe Wish List & Speculation

Donkey Kong is from S&S, right? The track looks very similar here. Any chance the Mine Carts could have some softer sideways tilt motion on them?

    Disney+

    1) The MoonKnight clip looks great 2) The longer extended clip from Hawkeye has me much more excited for that show; the single camera shot in the car!

    UK-exclusive tickets for 2022+

Confusingly now called "Disney Magic" rather than "Disney Ultimate" (I thought it was a 7 day cruise to start with) Currently on offer as 14 nights for the price of 7, so both the 7 day and 14 day tickets are the same price. Adults £469, Children £449. This is a £20 hike over the 2021 prices...
