I normally don't post on here and just like to observe, but I just saw a resort commercial on TV that said "3 theme parks and 5 resort hotels". Accompanying it was the same concept footage that we've seen.
We were able to ride for the first time Sunday and because of our early entry, we were able to start lining up on the Potter/Jurassic Park bridge at 7:25am. Around quarter of 8, we were allowed into the Kong queue and then into the indoor portion at 8:05. We were the second truck of the day...
I've ridden the VR coaster at Six Flags New England and it's cool for the first ride, but it has no repeatability IMO. The whole point of riding a roller coaster is to ride a roller coaster, not fill in the experience with something else.
Also, I'm pretty sure all VR coasters have been without...
Universal marketing has definitely done a solid job. I live in New England, and we hardly get theme park ads, but I've seen a few Kong ads now and then and there's several people in my area that have heard about it, which is weird considering how rare they are in my area besides a generic...
So, just curious, what timeframe are we thinking about for late summer? Like, August? I really thought this would be ready by our trip the last week of July. :saywhat: Oh well, just another reason to return, right? ;)
That would not surprise me whatsoever. Plus, with Hard Rock, Portofino and Royal Pacific all having unlimited and both having completely different prices per night, it would probably make more sense IMO.
Speaking of express, any indication as to whether Express Pass users will bypass the theming of the main queue and will go directly to the loading area as in other attractions or if they'll stay alongside the standby line for the duration of queue? Or do we not have any kind of indication as to...
Man, this outdoor portion, while quick, should really set up the ride nicely. Plus, it seems like it jostles quite a bit, so it should be tons of fun!
I honestly believe, and I'm not the first one to say this, that expectations for new attractions will lead to disappointment for many. If your expectations or either to high or expecting something completely different from reality, you'll leave feeling disappointed. Even if insiders who are in...
I'm sorry if I missed this, but what surrounding land does Universal own that isn't taken up by the current parks, City Walk, the resorts or Volcano Bay? I heard that they recently purchased land, but I'm not sure where and exactly how much.
Here's an excerpt of the ride's description on USO's website:
"Vicious, ancient predators and unspeakable monstrosities rip into your crew and swarm from every side."
Does this suggest that the driver will be killed? I guess it could be interpreted in different ways.
