I wouldn't worry considering Universal is making a killing in the horror genre business (e.g., Abigail for example). Sony, Warner Bros., and Paramount are still free to license their horror IPs for now.

Judging by this trailer, it seems they did a great job of capturing the look and feel of the original. Should this succeed critically and commercially, I have a feeling the third one will be made with Helen Hunt returning.
I hope this land has some rides that can rival Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction. To see a themed land based on horror characters is exciting and intriguing.
