I liked that IOA was open late with the studios for our July visit. Was just natural for us to gravitate towards IOA and less crowds at night when the masses were gathered in the studios for the night show.

There was one when we went through. Me, wife, and 3 kids 4,7, and 13. She was just sitting there like a statue in the hiding hole. I said to one of the kids "look, that's a real person!". They didn't believe me.

8:45 am and already a 90 min wait for Kong. It's amazing how much the "Official Opening" skyrocketed wait times. I mean you expect a significant bump, but I thought the ride capacity would keep the wait manageable at least for a couple hours after park open regardless.

That ceremony would definitely make a great pre-show video. Or even just an audio recording of something similar as a lead in to the witches room.

So will that area of the park be closed off completely tomorrow until 10am? Or will there be something like a little single lane roped off for visitors to pass with TM's keeping the traffic moving?

Rode last night. Posted wait time was 45 minutes. And we waited about that long, but man that line moved so fast it sure didn't feel that way. We got off about 9 and it looked like they had closed the line for the night. I wonder if it will be closed today so nothing breaks before the Today...

For as crowded as it is now, there were maybe 30 people at most standing at the rope drop for Marvel. Even on slow days at Disney (like yesterday was all day at Animal Kingdom), there's a ton of people there for rope drop. I guess it's probably the little kid factor.

Yup, crazy lines everywhere. We took a break, are gonna head back this evening and try for Skull Island. Hitting park open at 8am was fun though, walk ons everywhere in IOA. Got a free one time express pass for getting stuck on Gringotts.

Kong not open with the park this morning. Not a good start to my 3 days of trying to ride this thing.
