In regards to Terror Tram, I have a feeling "alternate route" means no walking by the Bates Motel? Or would we not do the long hill after Bates Motel? Any guesses?
I find the idea of Eli Roth being dropped or dropping out over "creative differences" regarding the Terror Tram to be a pretty funny thought. It sounds ridiculous, but then again, with his ego, I guess it could be totally plausible.
Speaking of these two shows, and I apologize if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but does anyone know why some of the Scare LA crew broke off and formed Midsummer Scream?
To my understanding, Boneyard FX is only appearing at Midsummer. I'm curious to see if one of the HHN announcements...
Totally agree with Galindo,
I'll miss Black Magic, that one was a favorite.
Forevermore could have been so much better, as Galindo said.
Never really dug Pinocchio. I'm excited to see what new comes our way!
I was mainly pointing the failing on many levels comment towards your post. Then I went off on a rant tangent about the negative vibe on the forums regarding a year-round haunt, so I apologize for that. No it isn't traditional, but USH historically hasn't been a very traditional theme park...
Plaza and Universal Blvd are fine (if not just a tad inspired by Buena Vista St. and Carthay Circle) is fine but everything else is either clones or lackluster Hollywood exclusives. When we start seeing more Hollywood exclusive originality I'll start to agree they have their heads on straight.
What levels is it failing on? Aside from being too short...
We have several people including the post above me saying it wasn't scary, and then we have posts that people are too scared. Like Lori says, It's a walk through attraction titled THE WALKING DEAD. If the body bags and blood before...
I'm curious to see how the second weekend drop looks. I haven't seen the film yet, but every single person I've chatted with are all pretty "meh" about it. Hopefully the attraction is better than the film. I would rather see them push full ahead with a great attraction rather than get a screen...
I'll throw in Rob Zombie. He's got the new film "31" coming out which sounds like a haunt in itself. I seem to recall Murdy mentioning his enjoyment in working with Rob and seemed to hint that more collaborations could happen despite Rob doing his own haunts.
I suppose Eli Roth and Clown...
I've watched the videos a few times now and I feel exactly the same! It really feels like 3 big rooms. You have to think the hospital, burning cabin, and prison are fairly permanent in terms of being able to swap out for different scenes. So that really doesn't leave much to be switched up in...
That media event looked pretty cool! I caught the live Periscope of it. Excited to see pics from the inside. This may be the thing that makes me finally "renew" my AP.
