    Studio Tour

Really, it is only bathrooms going in at the tour.  For those of you that doubt, just think for a moment about what is moving or disappearing for Potter to come in and the bathroom expansion with some additional space around it starts to make a bit more sense. Now ... back to your regularly...

    Brenda

I think if it's a "once in a while" thing there is no problem with what she does.  The problems start happening when it becomes a constant, like it has here.  Most people in the entertainment department will play along with guests like her.  They bring an energy to the performance that wasn't...

    Six Flags Magic Mountain

I think Six Flags touts itself as a "thrill" park rather than a "theme" park.  They make their nod to themeing but that's about it.  For a time in the 90's MM was run by the gangs and was a very dangerous place to work and go for fun.  I don't think they've been able to beat that reputation...

Jurassic Park: The Ride (Now Closed)

The Girl from Ipanema is the version sung by Astrud Gilberto from 1964.   As far as the music from the jeep, I actually am not sure.  All I ever heard was the voice yelling "Get out of there now!", screaming dinos, and crashing jeep sounds ... then again it's been a long time and I've blocked...

There is (or maybe was) a small snippet of "The Girl from Ipanema".

    Jobs at USH

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember it being Ride-Ops, Guides, Show Control, and Wardrobe were 18 and all others were 16.  Tour drivers were a completely different set up since you have to be a member of the Teamsters Union.  Your best bet for a job is to apply just before summer and winter...

Jurassic Park: The Ride (Now Closed)

Getting air was the fun part.  In all honesty, the lap bars aren't there to hold you in on the drop.  As long as you don't push away from the boat you will stay in it.  (I've caught a LOT of air time on that drop).  The lap bars are there to keep you in the boats on the flat parts of the ride...

Jurassic Park: The Ride (Now Closed)

Lol ... the real trick was to hold the lab bar in place with your knee on the way up the lifts and at the bottom of drop 3.  Two reasons, 1) It wedged you in during the drop so you didn't flop around and 2) stopped the bar from (painfully) hitting you in the stomach from the sudden stop at the...

Jurassic Park: The Ride (Now Closed)

I was one of the leads that helped to open JP.  When I rode, it was without a lap bar in case something happened on the attraction and I had to bail off the ride to help with an emergency.

Jurassic Park: The Ride (Now Closed)

I have to say that I love hearing these stories and feelings regarding an attraction that I love so much.  I've ridden JP more times then I could possibly count, almost all of them alone, most of them in the dark, and all of them without a lap bar.
