I agree with everything you said. Been to both Orlando and Hollywood versions, felt they were about the same movement overall. From our party of 6, both in Orlando and Hollywood, only one person felt slightly off following both rides. My phone highlights stories based off my browser history...
I am incredibly over TWD, but would go as far as betting my arm that it will be coming to the park. There are certain things currently being done in one department that makes me 99% sure it will become reality.
I've heard on numerous occasions we will get DA, but time and time again the location has been just below FJ, with a relocation of the tram garages and loading area. I have also heard that we will see a land based on the classic monsters. Every discussion of it included the ROTM still be part of...
I'm really curious to see Orlando's new Kong attraction. If rumors turn out to be facts, looking forward to seeing both screen and "real" life versions of him during my trip this September.
I agree with your statement 100%, we won't see a soft open until after the EP takes place. I haven't missed an EP yet and there has been no mention of a date yet. While everything from our point of view looks good, surely there is a ton of fine tuning taking place throughout the land. One of my...
I'm personally really mixed on the idea. While I have nothing against Shrek other than feeling that the attraction is very outdated. I would love to see us get away from screen based attractions, would replacing one with another be a good thing? I'm on the fence. I feel if it were to happen...
I'm still kinda shocked we saw no Jurassic World addition of any kinda. Even a wrecked ball from the ride featured movie in one of the scenes. Will be interesting to see if this lengthy refrubishment will be a fixer upper or if we will see anything extra dropped into the mix.
I've heard two things from different sources. One source in Operations and one in Merchandise. Both were very different, lol. One said it would become the Hello Kitty location that was announced awhile back. Apparently they have already tested Hello Kitty merchandise in the current Cartoon...
Anyone else pondering where they will place mazes this year? I'm really interested in how the park's capacity with Potter will affect their ability to use the extended queues. Sure Jurassic and Mummy don't utilize their extended queues during a normal end of summer... but this will be the summer...
I'm afraid in typical USH fashion... they most likely will design five mazes and count the new year round as our sixth maze. I would absolutely be blown away if we got the year round and six new mazes. Most likely better discussion in the HHN thread but I also question if the event isn't growing...
I stand corrected on the storage area, my source that said it would be used for storage has confirmed there will in fact be a year round walk through. The Walking Dead is what they heard as the theme. I can't for the life of me figure out how they plan to house the queue and attraction inside...
Back during the summer of Jurassic (think Chris was also part of it) it was pure madness, was a blast to be part of it. Even with the land in the other parks and the age of the property. I am willing to bet we see the park at capacity on most days for quite sometime. I have heard recently...
I want the upgrade to be awesome, however I keep reminding myself it probably won't be to different. Curious if we might see Doc's restored wheels built into the stage decor. The sides of the stage have become the catch all for props/shows of the past.
My latest is... like before... retail and Starbucks. Completion date they are trying to hit is February 15th. Retail will be divided into three sections, Potter being center. We will see USS shutting down for about 15 days while the final merchandising takes place within the entire space.
I got and read the press releases as well, you are 100 percent correct it did mention all of the above... we shall wait and see... for the record, if it was my choice... there would be no retail or coffee shop in the location :)
Hollywood Grill will become "Hollywood & Dine" from what I'm hearing the HOH replacement is nothing more than retail and coffee shop. The side of the building closest to Globe Theater will have a large door that will allow merchandise on pallets to be loaded on to an elevator that will take the...
