Here's my Speculation list:
1) ST 2- because...duh.
2) Haunting of Hill House- Smash hit, another Netflix property that's a perfect fit for a maze? Yes, please
3) Killer Klowns- After a successful run as a scare zone in Orlando, this gets the Trick 'r Treatment.
4) Glass/Split- Universal...
I felt that it was definitely the scariest maze I've encountered in my years of attending the event (2014-present). It wasn't unnervingly scary, but the scares were well timed and got me good.
According to BoxOfficeMojo's release schedule, it's opening November 9th, the week after Dark Phoenix, and the week before the second Fantastic Beasts movie. It'll probably win its weekend, but I'm not sure it'll have the legs needed to be considered for a ride.
Please! It bothered the crap out of me that the Parisian Streets or SSFL were completely empty this year! There's so much space to build a Scare Zone back there!
I would kill for more Halloween themed attractions. JPitD is alright, but I'd love a version with live actors, or a Treehouse of Horrors themed Simpsons ride
Honestly, I think a second show would be helpful in controlling crowds. a hundred or so people in Animal Actors every hour or so would keep the streets a little less full, and allow for easier guest flow, lower wait times for houses, and more time for character interactions in scare zones
My 3 Wishes for 2018:
1) An Icon/Theme:
Hollywood Harry or someone completely new, Hollywood needs a narrative direction for its event and an Icon would help push that forward. Personally, I'd love to see the kid from scene 1 of ToT this year build into a full-fledged icon.
2) A Second Show...
