    Howl-O-Scream 2023 (SWO)

Only thing I can think of is capacity limitations of that small building for fire code - restricting the number of people they can have in at one time and increasing group separation times. There must be a reason, it would be bizarre to run all houses in one way and then a single house in a much...

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

I think it's a good move - the area looks bigger than is needed for a single hotel (see hotels across the street.) Makes me wonder if they could expand the park out that way too?

    Penguin Trek (2024)

This looks promising, the Antarctica area has been a bit of a mess since the park reopened after the covid shutdown in 2020 so this is very welcome in my eyes. I particularly like how the station seems to be in the same space as the final scene in the old dark ride, meaning that if the glass is...

The Future of Fast and Furious: Supercharged

If they are going to do some of Nintendo in every park over time, which would make sense akin to Potter, USF is likely going to need to find space for Pokemon down the line. If they can shoehorn a Hollywood F&F style coaster somewhere else in the park, the current Supercharged plot could be a...

    Universal's Epic Universe Construction Thread

I'm kind of imagining a long wooded pathway leading to a more distant portal - kind of like if you look at aerial views of Super Nintendo World in Japan, how that is set far back from the WaterWorld plaza.

The Future of Fast and Furious: Supercharged

I certainly see the logic, but one in five guests is still a number worth considering. I do think there is appetite for another physically thrilling attraction at USF, there's a reason that Revenge of the Mummy gets higher ridership than Transformers or Simpsons, for example. Fast & Furious...

The Future of Fast and Furious: Supercharged

The problem is all of those are at IOA or EU, USF needs something thrilling, fast, and non-screen based to round out it's lineup - a coaster is one way to achieve this. I for one think VelociCoaster would have been better placed in USF with a different theme.

    Villain-Con Minion Blast (General Discussion)

I don't think it will be too much of an issue. Aquariums have used curving moving walkways to transport thousands of guests per hour for years without issue. In an aquarium you're looking at fish, here you're looking at minions and holding a blaster, but that's essentially the difference.

The Future of Fast and Furious: Supercharged

I agree, I think Intamin could shoehorn a new coaster on just the west portion of Rockit, entering in New York, and leave south vacant to expand USF towards and into blue man group arena.

The Future of Fast and Furious: Supercharged

They could change the IP of the supercharged building attraction and add the fast & furious drift coaster from Hollywood (Rockit can't have a ton of years left in it.)

    Ice Breaker (SWO)

Could they not just retrofit regular seatbelts onto the existing trains like Ice Breaker has done? New trains would seem like an over complicated solution.

    Ice Breaker (SWO)

Full Throttle operates in the same park with the same train design without comfort collars.

General Discussion - Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure

Feel sorry for the staff and the abuse they’re getting from guests today - caused by Hagrid’s being an absolute disaster all day, never seen anything like it. Fairly quiet day at IOA, line for Hagrid’s far from the worst I’ve seen it but has taken 3 hours so far and it is being evacuated now (at...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

Back in the Manby days San Diego was going to be the first park in the chain to get a hotel.

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

I'd be amazed if they didn't open a BIG coaster in 2025 for Epic Universe's year. For example, this new patented top hat type thing from Intamin would provide a crowd-drawing icon for the park: On the most recent earnings call the company announced one new hotel for 2025 and a second in 2026 -...

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Fast & Furious drift coaster after supercharged bites the dust.

    Universal's Epic Universe Construction Thread

I also appreciate a nice lift hill but regardless they are objectively inferior to a park operator than an LSM launch. LSM magnetic propulsion makes them contactless and so they require zero maintenance and upkeep. Chain lifts on the other hand do, especially when you are running your chain and...

The pump blew...again. Will be back soon.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster - General Discussion

You can buy express on the website for days beyond the Hagrid closure and VelociCoaster is listed as included so it would be a little misleading if it were temporary.

    Universal's Epic Universe Construction Thread

The drop out is steeper, but at least to me it doesn't appear to be tighter in terms of radius at the apex. 20 seats (10 rows) is standard for Mack, they have done 24 seats (12 rows) in a couple of instances. Even with just the standard arrangement they'll get 40 riders per dispatch though which...
