Always a pleasure! Always read but rarely post. Thanks everyone! Check out my Horrorpunk band Graveyard Smash! I've been trying for a few years to get our stuff featured somewhere in the event. Who knows, maybe some day. Graveyard Smash on Spotify
Is my browser f'ing up? No spec conversation in a week despite several facades going vertical? I've never been to Hollywood, but have lurked here for years. Where is everyone?!
The rubber hose style animation has that vintage/creepy aesthetic and they tend to face off against monsters/the devil and have carnival/graveyard scenes. Also, just came out on Netflix. This was my thought process at least.
Supernatural? I personally would love to see that, but definitely think it'd divisive. There's a prequel show coming out.
(Edit was the shrugging emoji coming up as a different emoji, so omitted altogether.)
Remember when people were talking about the band Ghost having a house being a cool idea? Good times. Seeing them on Friday and meeting Papa IV. Still think a Misfits Horrorpunk house would be dope! The whole Horrorpunk thing was definitely represented at Vamp '85 and Lights, Camera, Haction...
I don't know all the rights info, but would stuff from the silent era be possible in a gray scale styled house? Werewolf of London, Edison's Frankenstein, Nosferatu, Dr Caligari, London After Midnight, etc?
Thought crossed my mind that there were so many chainsaws in Hacktion as an attempt to discourage people from just hanging out there due to Covid. That's always been my favorite zone to grab a bench and just watch.
I was actually referring to the bride towards the beginning of the maze that swings the gate/door (?) Open and come out at you. Maybe it was just a weird run for me, but she'd never come that close before.
Call me crazy, but I went through Brides tonight and definitely seemed like a lot of the vinyl was gone. I had vampire brides coming way closer than I've seen in the last 2 years! My buddy is a theme park vlogger who has gone a tone more than I, and noticed the same.
