I think the lack of daytime tour has to do with the fact that Hollywood is a local park while Orlando is a tourists park. More people go to Orlando for multi days where they are in the park during the day and the HHN at night.
Hollywood the majority of visitors go to HHN and then won't visit...
I remember in 19 it was a crazy schedule where some mazes opened at 5:45 (Us I know opened earlier than Pandora) and then most mazes in Metro and Lower Lot were open by 6.
It used to be (16, 17, 18) lower lot and metro would open 5:45/6, depending on crowd, and then the top would open at 7pm...
I forgot about the Purge that would be a definite contender as well. Chucky maybe a bit less, but definitely could see that as well.
Remember corporate made the decision with regards to line up and not Murdy and company. We are going to get something cheap and easy to execute.
Just typing that...
I wouldn't be surprised if Terror Tram is Hollywood Harry.
It was an very popular tram and it is relatively cheap to run generic clown masks and costumes.
Sometimes they do sometimes they don't.
Universal owns the copyright to Halloween 3, lock stock and barrel. If they wanted to cram it into the Dreamworks theater they could. As far as that goes with Halloween and Michael Meyers I have no clue, My guess is when MM is involved things get murky...
Could also be the team that was supposed to make the masks couldn't handle the new date.
My point is there are sooooo many reasons why they made the switch and Universal pulling the rights from themselves just seems like it would be low on the list.
I don't think H3 was a rights issue I think it was marketing asked "Hey where is Michael Meyers? Kids love Michael Meyers."
Also I'd venture to guess that "if" the merch printing was what nulled the contract, it was a scape goat. Rights owners pulled it for some other reason and just used that...
The only think I can think is marketing preferred to have MM back as opposed to the "mask" maze.
I have scoured all over and it appears Universal Studios does own the rights to H3 so those shouldn't be an issue. It appears they just said what are the most popular mazes that we can do for under...
All we have is incomplete information. We don't, and never will, have the full story.
Maybe SS29 wasn't going to be available for the amount of construction needed for Hill House?
Maybe the plan was Beetlejuice in SS29 and when they lost that it made the most sense to keep everything as is and...
Even though Exorcist is likely going to be a copy paste of 2016, I only got to go through it once so I am looking forward to going through a second time.
2019we did a Dark Harbor, HHN back to back and by the time I went through Pandora I was DONE. So I am looking forward to giving it a second...
The problem isn't how much money comcast has the problem is how much they make off the event. Orlando's event draws tourists, Hollywood draws locals. Tourists buy multiple night tickets, hotel rooms and spend wayyyy more than locals. Comcast isn't going to lose money on an event. They could just...
Correct, but when our local tipsters are hearing chatter that it has been axed and then you see that it is off of Orlando's spec map it starts looking very doubtful.
What if the website is correct?
What if only 4 mazes are locked in at the moment?
What if Hollywood has been working under the assumption that the contracts they had are still good? Orlando was able to renew them because they are known for quality and Hollywood, well...
What if Parisian, the one...
