I was looking through Universal's events and found this. Looks like Fear Factor Stage will be open at least through September 9th since they are taking reservations for the Rock The Universe weekend.
I hope they fix whatever problems they had with the weight limit. I went opening weekend when it was still 300 lbs. I weigh around 280 and had problems with the drop platform dropping about an 1/8 inch then getting stuck. It is real scary waiting 30 seconds for them to figure out how to get it...
I was just looking through some of the patents that Biz Journal Orlando had originally thought we had for Harry Potter and I noticed two of them for a movable theater and couldn't help wonder if they could be used in this theater. It may be too small but was an interesting thought.
Why would they be careful with it? I could be wrong but I remember earlier in this discussion talking about how the track was about to expire in a couple years and would need to be completely replaced like they did with Hulk. Maybe they could refurbish the track but I was under the impression...
Would a new version of the animal actors show really be considered "Live Action"? I think its going to be a lot more than just a traditional stage/animal show.
I would have to agree. One of the things that made IOA a great option for me was the level of thrill rides. The parks down the street were great if I was going with little kids, but IOA was always the choice for me and my college friends. If they start replacing true roller coasters like Dragon...
I find it interesting in the Temporary Attraction Closures section in theme park hours, Universal chose to leave out "family attraction." As you can see it only mentions it's a thrill ride. It is probably because of the limited space but I still find it interesting that they don't consider that...
