i’m still taking the commercial speculation with a grain of salt, and i understand that hill house is almost two years old, but i find it interesting that they’re allegedly using one of the show’s biggest spoilers as a major marketing tactic

here’s something else to consider: storyteller’s main role, despite being extremely rushed, was really touted to be the person to “bring” the story of terra cruentus to life. would it be a stretch to take that literally, that storyteller has the ability to make terra cruentus a physical reality?

here’s the real question here: why would anyone want to put a copyright claim on an urban legend? you know, something spread through word of mouth?

that was really cool as well. overall, for a house based on a movie that has virtually no gore whatsoever they did a pretty decent job trying to make it gory. although it does seem like this house takes place in the texas chainsaw 3D timeline, as drayton definitely looks less like jim siedow...

i saw a post on here that suggested that 31 could be a bigger year than 30, and i wonder if that’s actually a possibility. even if “it-that-shall-not-be-named” wasn’t happening, the current rumors suggest that this year’s event will be slightly scaled back in comparison to past events.

the biggest scare i got through the whole event was actually walking through those damn spider webs. my god, i was ready to BOLT out of that scene because it felt so real.
