Just to jump in on the discussion around the “lollipop” house, whilst Sweets is the obvious answer here, I actually thought more along the lines of Wizard of Oz and Hansel and Gretal.
Wizard of Oz has a small song called “The Lollipop Guild”, and I believe we have had a Wizard of Oz scarezone...
Final ranking
Dr Oddfellow - claustrophobic, fun, and see something new each time. Love it!
The darkest deal - aggressive, surprising and reminds me of poltergeist and graveyard games
Blood moon dark offerings - dead man’s pier mixed with intense purge. Great house, but room to grow
Exorcist...
Quick rankings and thoughts from last night:
The last of us - great sets, costumes, and pretty scary in parts. Did the game justice
Duelling dragons - was blown away by this one, so much fun and great set pieces. Endings were hit and miss (or non-existent in one run). Might fall down list as...
Correct. Queue for stay and scream and straight into queue for stranger things. At 4:55 they moved us to the actual queue and the house opened at 5:15. Was through and out by 5:30
There seemed to be one smaller holding area, followed by the second much bigger and longer holding area which snaked outside Jimmy fallon then back to mummy (beside first holding area), then down to transformers, back up to Finnegans, etc.
For context when I was let into the queue itself was...
Agreed it was brutal. Now backstage in the shade which is much better, but there needs to be better systems both for guests and staff - they’re in the blazing sun much longer with no protection.
Update from today - queue for NY stay and scream was up to sting alley by 3:30. Have just joined the stranger things queue just by the mummy at the end of the first holding area. No shade so going to be fun!
For the hotel guest entrance last year, what time could you queue up from, and did they allow you to queue up in the soundstage ahead of the house opening? Just wondering if that’s a good way to beat the heat!
This has been incredibly difficult, and houses listed 4-8 change position all the time!
Duelling dragons - loved the queue and original ride. Can’t wait to see what they do with this!
The last of us - wanted this for years, and big seeds of extinction fan. Think this could be incredibly scary...
For what it’s worth, an international guest ticket would be fantastic, ringfenced to a week or two. Paying full price for access to multiple nights across two months when only physically able to attend one or two weeks is very expensive and wasteful.
Also just throwing this out there - in the show there are scenes outside of the main story where Chucky breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the audience about what has happened in the show. Would give an opportunity for an interactive Chucky which would be fun, but might disrupt the...
Cheers I managed to collect the set. Love them!
Chucky is a “Good Guy” doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer, who does what serial killers do.
The show picks up from the last two Chucky movies (Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky). These films establish that Chucky can now split his...
I guess I’m the only Chucky fan on here then lol. Yes it’s silly. Yes it’s dumb. But that’s why I like it. It’s funny, over the top, very camp and just fun. I also do like Leprechaun too for the same reasons. Looking forward to the house just for the dark humour. Is Chucky scary? Ignoring the...
