This Just In - Current USH Happenings

It’s definitely not cheap to live in SoCal. Of course everyone’s situation is different depending on where you live and how many are in your household but I’ll throw out some numbers. I live in the San Gabriel Valley. From 2003-2006, my sister and I rented a 2 bed/2 bath apartment for...

    Disneyland Resort

It was a tier 1 day so $104 for a ticket. Students had to pay $136 to participate. You can’t use your AP or get any discounts if you have an AP. Funny thing was they were the only group to participate. No other group ahead or behind them. They were literally the whole parade.

    Disneyland Resort

My high school marching band got to perform in the DL daytime parade that goes from IASW to Main Street. Fast forward 30 years later and now my daughter’s intermediate school’s Color Guard and marching band got to perform in the parade today. If you’re not aware of the program, the school has...

    Legoland California

Other than in August 2020 when they opened up Miniland during the pandemic, I haven’t been back since 2017 when they were building the submarine ride. Even the new Lego Movie World land was not enough to get me back to the park since my kids have pretty much outgrown the park. Sad to see...

    Knott's Berry Farm

Line is much shorter now but still long. About where the Woodstock game booth is. Unfortunately, no. I just asked. However, my youngest is a few inches above the max height but the ride op is allowing him to ride. He doesn’t want to ride. He thinks he’s too old for it but I’m making go on it...

    Knott's Berry Farm

I went on Saturday to grab dinner since I was in the area. It was surprisingly not that busy. Maybe it was the calm before the NYE storm. We were in and out of the park in 60 mins. Food lines were no longer than 20 mins and that’s from several diff locations since my family always wants to eat...

    Knott's Berry Farm

If it’s entirely in the dress shop, that’s a pretty small area. I believe behind it is the back room of Spurs and hopefully that will be the actual lounge. You enter the dress shop and then thru another door/doorway to access the lounge. Since it’s not available during KSF, it can be converted...

    Knott's Berry Farm

Some quick updates. I asked the associates manning the Ferris wheel while it was down about the new Off-Road Rally that’s replacing the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company and they said Huff & Puff will be going away and that plot would be used for its expansion. Honestly, this makes the most...

    CityWalk Hollywood

I’m not an employee and was able to go. IIRC, the weekend before I went was only for TMs and then the following weekend was open to the public.

    CityWalk Hollywood

I went to one in mid-June located in the basement of the CG parking. It was called Universal Retail’s Monster Sale with everything 90% off. Felt like almost half of it was Potter merch. There were also a lot of JW toys, assorted clothing, random trinkets, etc. Basically excess inventory they...

Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash - General Discussion

Yeah, idk why they didn’t make the RVs 2x2. You’ll have less RVs but have higher capacity.

Super Nintendo World - Hollywood (General Discussion)

Ever since school started mid-August, VL was never used and I almost always go on weekends.

Planning a Christmas/New Year's Trip to Seoul - Recommendations for Lotte World vs. Everland?

Is this the same Kyochon that’s available in the states? I’m in SoCal and there’s three locations here. I love fried chicken but generally not a fan of Korean fried chicken. I’m a dark meat person and they usually serve the whole bird. I don’t like paying $30+ for a whole bird. Also, they...

Don’t get your hopes up. That poster also said that it’ll be available February 30th and that he hasn’t heard anything planned for it coming. Yes, he works at Toadstool Cafe.

2023 Holidays at Universal Studios Hollywood

Didn’t they have a Grinch photo op by the tram unload last year and it had significantly shorter waits but that was open to all guests? This is definitely a nice AP perk. I’ve seen 2+ hour waits in Universal Plaza. That’s insane just to snap a pic.

    Knott's Berry Farm

Stopped by for a few hours since I was in the area. Fast Lane IS open for Xcelerator. Also, if you didn’t end up using your single-use Fast Lane pass from the Prestige Pass, don’t throw it away. I banked a handful of them when I intended to use them during KSF but ended up not using them. I...

Anyone seen this? Why is MM/HH pinned in what looks to be the Barstow area?
