How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk (Epic Universe)

Out of the lands, this ranked lowest for me in terms of IP attachment but I am SO HYPED for this! The visual combination of adventure and whimsy is so fun, and I appreciate a land where I can ride mostly everything without feeling slightly green. My friend (who's warming up to Universal)...

    D23 Expo 2024

I don't disagree, but it was definitely easier to swallow when you get first dibs shopping, a massive amount of gifts, a special RSP for limited pins and merch, a welcome dinner, show, and self-guided tour of the show floor before anyone else, a private lounge with snacks, drinks, and character...

    D23 Expo 2024

This might be dumb, but given the pricing (near-Sorcerer with no added benefits other than seating), why get floor? I could pay $2500 for a tall person to sit in front of me and be screwed but much less to get stadium-style seating? I know some floor folks will have amazing views, but not everyone?

    D23 Expo 2024

Ugh and now I'm re-re-thinking my plans to skip Expo for WDW/UOR. I have to miss one this year (Expo or HHN/MNSSHP), but Ford and Williams and Rohde pushes me over the edge I think

Horror Nights Wish List - Orlando

I LOVED Puppet Theater and would loooooove a Sweeney house. Thinking of how gross the scent would be. Working our way through Fleet Street, then going into the shop, then ending in the bakehouse. Love it.

Universal Studios Florida: What Do We Think About It?

I love USF/IOA at night, so I've timed my vacations to HHN & OI meetups when I know for sure the parks will be open later. I agree with comments about Epic Universe hopefully expanding park hours overall (especially if the demand is there/the math maths). That park is going to be stunning at night.

    Six Flags Great Adventure

Even for four guests, that is wild. Absolutely not

    Helios Grand Hotel

I was in the Celestial Park thread & thinking -- do we think Helios buses will drop off at CityWalk for USO/IOA? Makes the most sense, right? If so, that'd be the only drawback I'd have about staying there. I love being able to go through HRH or RPR security and not CityWalk. It's a super minor...

Universal's Epic Universe General News & Discussion

I feel this way. I don't have any attachment to the franchise (besides thinking toothless is super cute), but I'm excited to explore the land

    Dark Universe (Epic Universe)

It's giving Van Helsing. I just have "oooh Gabriel!" stuck in my head: FTR I don't care but once I saw the look, I couldn't think of anything else

    D23 Expo 2024

Ahh, interesting. And agreed, also hesitant lol. Thanks!

    D23 Expo 2024

Does Nelson Peltz want to put money into parks? I didn't think so, especially since he wants to bring on Jay Rasulo who notoriously slashed costs everywhere. I feel like their attitude is, parks revenue is great! Why change a thing? And that's the absolute wrong attitude to have - parks need...

Universal's Epic Universe General News & Discussion

Very excited for the individual lands, but Celestial Park is going to be something else - especially at night. I'm also super grateful for the insights on these boards and especially the IU team & @Alicia ! Now everyone can be as excited as we've been talking about this park!

    Helios Grand Hotel

I didn't have any Florida trips planned for 2025 (yet), but it looks like all my pennies might have to go here. Wow. Really gorgeous

Halloween Horror Nights 32 (UOR) - News & Info

I don't know if there's a better thread for this question, but I've been going to my favorite HHN podcasts for season end recaps/final reviews, and not a lot posted. Any recommendations? Trying to extend this fun season as much as possible lol

    The Marvels

That's fair! Maybe that's just my perception and I'm lumping that with "too much"

    The Marvels

It's so hard because what made the MCU really cool to me was the emotional payoff of all these interconnected stories. But now I just feel like it's all *too* connected to navigate. A tricky balance for sure

    The Marvels

I loved Captain Marvel. Saw it twice in theaters, got the blu ray, loved it loved it. Saw Endgame 3x, watched Wandavision at midnight. Was solidly into the early stages of the MCU. I feel like Marvel has completely lost me now. Not because of any choices or plot points, but just because of the...

Universal Parks and Resorts & Facial Technology

My sunglasses catch FaceID errors all the time. I'd be impressed if they're able to go through Universal's recognition scanners
