Bring back Martha May & the Who-Dolls! Also bring back the Whoville 5! *sigh*

Grinchmas just isn't what it used to be. While the roaming WHOs are wonderful, this event is a "one & done" experience now. And the Grinchmas nom offerings are basic.

Curious to see what noms Nintendo gives us & if they'll sell any at Power-Up Cafe as well.

Thankfully Frog Choir will be back in action at Potter! The holiday version is the best, but i did miss their presence the rest of the year.

Once again nothing for DreamWorks Theatre!? Such a missed opportunity.

I do hope they have all the Grinchmas shows from Pre Covid back...but also doubting it with HHN and summer not being as busy but will still hope

Hoping SNW is super fun to walk through for Christmas and wonder how long the line for that photo op will be, lol

They do the tree lighting, would also not be upset if Snowball lead a Christmas Street Light's lighting up ceremony because Pets Place is super cute during this time of the year

I feel like Nintendo will be a one & done holiday stop. Grab the holiday photos & noms, then steer clear of it after that (unless noms are good & require a repeat tasting)

I still want DeathEaters for the holidays!

The regular park characters in festive attire are always great. Definitely enjoy the 3 streets all decked out with holiday decor. Best night shots with the xmas lights are when it's minimally wet!

Went Friday and then a little Saturday Afternoon

The Pro's lots of characters to meet both in the grinchmas area and most of the characters in the parks are out from classic monsters, to the trolls and Shrek and Donkey dressed for the holidays.
No Gwen from Migration so not sure if that character is now gone, the last time I saw her was late spring/early summer.

Paris Street lights were all not working night one when I checked them out, but Saturday at sunset looks like they were all working

The first Grinchmas tree lighting had to stop mid way through because of issues. I went and saw the second castle show and not too bad of crowds for that at 6 PM when I went.
Met the Grinch took about 20 mins at rope drop and the line was mainly 2 hour the rest of the day...I hear the tram area is the best if you can catch him there the AP line was 45 mins when I checked the first afternoon.

The Park was crowded but not packed and sure in the coming weeks we will see some insane days.

The Frog Chorus is back and I think...just is the better of the two Potter shows we get with the characters, so glad its back.

The new SNW stuff is great its cute and hope we see more next year, about 75% of the land doesn't have anything and would not mind more garland in most parts of the land. I will say I am confused by the tree next to Mario and Luigi, if they just moved it inside the warp pipe behind the meet and greet would be wonderful for photos but.....its near but not enough to really be in photos.
Peach's gazebo is wonderful at nighttime.

Its a good first year would not mind a little more and maybe characters in costumes for the holidays (the ice power up suits or penguin suits) but yeah its nice we got this for sure and the land is soaking up guests for how small it is, it does like the grinchmas area really soak up people and makes other rides in the parks at lower times then you'd expect with the crowds in a good way.

We have the Grinch story and one singing group, the story telling I think they improved with sound effects and some music but maybe they have done this in the past? But I know last year they started grinchmas with the story telling not being on the main stage and finally moved it there

I would love them to bring back the other singing act they have but...feel like it wont be until 2026 before we see it again...if ever.

Lastly they had the front row saved for people and families with wheel chairs but then day two they took both the front rows and had signs on them....I think its to make it so the VIP tour guides can drop people off but....yeah not a fan of two rows being not able to be used by people. especially since many times people who just..."lie" or ignore the signs just get better spots but anyway Universal doesn't care about the lines at HHN or locker sizes they wont care about this complaint.

Its a great event, I think most people will enjoy it. The Grinch and characters are fun and in its own bubble its amazing....but as someone who goes to other theme parks....I just wish the "entertainment" capital of LA added more entertainment. Disneyland added 3 new shows this year for the holidays with two different Deadpool story's, and the Coco show and Encanto show and lastly they added the new santa area which besides being super cute also has some mini shows that go on about every hour or so.

Along with the USH hours being only to 9 PM for now....and most the season. I just would like more to do so we can stay open later but once again feels like 2026 would be the first year I see them being able to pull it off.

I was at Grinchmas again yesterday. The grinch has a long line and so do most characters walking around but funny enough the shows were not filling up. The nighttime shows are always filled but the day time shows for some reasons are not always filling up even with a full park. Even one of the characters mentioned it saying we need to get more people here filling the seats.

But the park was much fuller yesterday then Saturday.

Today wasn’t that bad either

Most rides are 40 mins or under with one exception

Grinch area shows for the third day in a row not filled during day time shows

Sorry I couldn't get better shots from inside the land. It was still far too peopley & I didn't want to stick around.

Mario Kart also still had a 60+ min waittime & i was too lazy to do those single rider stairs of doom. As I was about to head out, I bumped into an old coworker who works there now, so she VIP'd me through the exit. That was an unexpected win, even if Bowser won the race.
