Planning a trip this fall with kids 11mo, 3 and 5.5, mulit-day trip with the larger family but doing 1 day at Epic. HTTYD is an obvious must, but they don't play video games, too young to grasp Potter, and we'll probably skip monsters.

Do you think the Potter show/wand spots, and the Nintendo interactive elements are worth seeing for kids of this age, or should we not worry about those areas and stick to HTTYD and Celestial?

Nintendo has Yoshi, which should be great for the 3 and 5-year-olds. The interactive elements at either should entertain them, too; as Potter does have a lot of Fantastic Beasts to play with (in the Cirque show and in windows).

I'd prioritize HTTYD, then Nintendo, then Potter.

About how long is Ministry would you say? Unchained felt rather short, so I'm a bit worried about Battle.

The back isn’t the part of the body I’d be worried about. I’ve been on twice and twice my neck has come off sore. I have no history of neck issues.

This is really disappointing  it’s like top 3 most anticipated for me and I have neck issues.

What would you say a comparable ride experience is? I’m guessing not as jarring as Space Mountain since you can see where you’re going right?

Yes, but allegedly it will wipe out progress on the other side if you sync it to the app. (I.E. if you bring your Hollywood band to Orlando, it’ll wipe out your USH stats)

I need a few more rides, but it’s on that level.

Just an update on this, the USH app seems to still have all of my points and such after using it in Orlando.

Also, I don't see a Team DK in the USH app, so I'm not certain that would actually work? Maybe it just doesn't put you in a team?

Why not? Didn't they just say it doesn't erase your progress in Hollywood?

I cracked and started watching various ride POV videos and was wondering about the actual experience on the Donkey Kart ride.

Is the impression of the track disappearing or you jumping over it realistic? The videos I’ve seen make it seem not.

You know when they eventually replace the Gypsy mannequin , people will say they prefer it when it was low budget carnival style.

If they do change it, I hope they add the original as a prop somewhere else as an Easter egg.

But honestly the ride and theming give it low budget carnival, and not in a bad way imo

It's much better in person. I tried watching a POV of it yesterday and it didn't do the ride justice.

You can show them the Mario movie to introduce them to the concept of Nintendo for the interactive elements.
