I just flew back in today. What a beautiful time to be at the Dollywood Resort. There's just too much joy there to feel any sadness and her spirit will be alive and well there in forever as it's so beautifully interwoven all throughout the park.
Of course, there were some moments of silence for their Dreamer-In-Chief. I stopped in to the onsite chapel to pray that Wednesday and there were some tearful team members.
But overall, it was overwhelming to see not just Dollywood but all of Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and its surrounding areas honoring Dolly everywhere you looked. I mean just about every single business in the area had some kind of message for Dolly posted out front.
I stayed at her DreamMore Resort and wow... what an incredible little resort. I told my friends it reminded me of a compact Universal resort. I loved the size, the rooms, the amenities... I would stay here again in a heartbeat but would love to try HeartSong next.
