Don't think Shrek 5 is releasing in 2025. They're already releasing four Dreamworks Animation movies next year (Dog Man, Live Action HTTYD, Bad Guys 2, and Gabby's Dollhouse).

Shrek 5 will probably be coming out in 2026 then. Also according to this article Eddie Murphy claims he has already began recording some of lines for Shrek 5:

Don't think Shrek 5 is releasing in 2025. They're already releasing four Dreamworks Animation movies next year (Dog Man, Live Action HTTYD, Bad Guys 2, and Gabby's Dollhouse).

Know while there is association with DWA on it--the live action film does not seem to be a direct DreamWorks Animation production. It seems to be a Marc Platt production.

Also could've sworn Gabby's Dollhouse is a "Hybrid" TV/Animation show--so I would ask perhaps that might not even be an issue either.

Assuming if I am right, Shrek 5 could easily come out in a similar time as say--Puss in Boots was; on the heels directly before Avatar 3.
