Maybe they didn't announce when it would open because the park was already booked to capacity and they didn't want extra people trying to get in for the opening?

Has anyone been to DC and seen the new expansion yet? I have a family friend coming to stay for a few weeks and I'm trying to convince her to go. She thinks it's a tad too expensive, even though you basically get free SeaWorld and Aquatica entry with the DC ticket, so it's quite a deal in reality. Hope we do go. I've been wanting to go for years! Plus I'd like the free SeaWorld ticket too, since I haven't been on Manta yet. But anyways, has anyone seen this new area? pics? anything?

The new area is not realy impresive...
A cave with windows inside where you CAN see otters.

It is nice but not impressive!

It´s def not a REASON to go there. If you plan to visit it is nice to do it...
