Literally thinking same. I mean, it's like all they can come up with are tired vague-postings with the same exact gimmicks which does nothing but annoy most of us.. and the same tired slogans "never go alone", etc.. I mean, come on! See you in the fog was the best one recently, and that really came from all of us, now didn't it?

Ahhh, like it or not the static is a part of the modern day HHN aesthetic.
Cope or don’t, it’s here to stay.

Yeah, ironically the ones upset by this SHOULD be the GP. The ones who are still deciding if they want to attend or not lol

To be fair, even if a billboard went up outside the arches, it wouldn't even be on the GPs radar

Anything remotely spooky gets met with "Its too early for this"

Oh the naivety of the foolish GP. I remember when I was a GP. Saw an ad for the Krampus house and never looked back.

Very true. Even in July, when we start out HHN update coverage, we get hit with "But it's July?"

I've seen no evidence that points to "the GP responds well to it". A very nothing burger statement.

*looks at the crowds*

Yeah… I guess Universal’s marketing strategy really needs to shift.

That's not because of the marketing that's because of the IPs.

Edit: also to add, I would say social media influencers are the main contributors of the huge crowds nowadays. The people reporting on every hhn announcement and the ones who go to the media events. They're the driving force of getting people into HHN.

You mean the same influencers who will desperately share and attempt to dissect the boring marketing Universal provides to fill the dearth of content that exists in the off season?

You say that as if it's a good thing. It really isn't. Universal puts in the bare minimum.

there are people who’s entire career is focused around this. they’re doing fine. just because you don’t think it’s great, doesn’t mean other people don’t enjoy it.

If they're doing (and paying) the bare minimum and still pulling in wild crowds, then they're doing great from the company's perspective. We may not like it, but is what it is.

They just play it safe. Even though they're basically guaranteed crowds every year they don't want to switch things up anymore or try something different. It's whatever I guess. No point in really arguing about this anymore because you're right, regardless of how any of us feel it won't be changing for awhile. It's unfortunate.

If you think I'm cynical about hhn... lmao. Good luck being on this website. A lot of other users here are way more negative on hhn than I am I'm always the positive one :skull:
