I thought this was a Wheel of Fortune thread.

This sounds pretty cool. I was looking at some of the pictures already built and this looks like a great addition to I-Drive.

We recently went on a giant wheel at Niagara Falls, nothing like the size of this one though. 40 people per car, that is friggin huge! It's cool though that will be a great addition to the Orlando skyline and anything new and family oriented can only improve I-drive.

I believe it was put on hold due to the economy.

I wonder now with Universal drawing in the tourists to that area if they are thinking of building this again, I hope they do!

I think it is safe to declare this project dead...at least as dead as one can be.

    Deader than me, sadly.
    Yes, deader is a word.
I always wanted to see this become a reality. I have a huge fear of heights, but I love going into tall places just so I can work away that fear. I love the rush of it, but I never really get to sit and enjoy it all. Now, we do have the sky tower at Sea World, but I haven't been on that for years, haha.

I'm actually surprised that one of the parks doesn't build something like this, like downtown d. It would fit into there new themeing.

It's a shame this was shelved, the views could've been awesome. Where exactly was it going to be built?

*goes to google maps* Ah, interesting could have definitely offered some interesting views. I wonder if this will ever be considered when the economy improves.

This could be interesting. I've been to both the NYC and London Tussaud's and they are both fun and interesting.

Bank on this one having a Walt Disney figure for sure in it.

So Blackstone is adding 3 new attractions to the I-Drive Corridor. Interesting.

    Sounds great.

Very interesting. Almost as if they're creating their own little fiefdom, no?

I wish they would have decided to put there attractions near legoland so theres more of a draw to that area.
