ICON Park

So, not sure if this is just an anomaly or not based on early rumors about Top Golf and Andretti struggling (the Pro Bowl is in town and PGA Tournament), but both were PACKED tonight. Like, if I put in my name now, I could go drive to Disney Springs, have a nice steak Dinner, do some shopping and then I would probably still have a comfortable amount of time to make it back for a 1:30 am Golf session.

It'd be awesome if they did entrances in between those properties, like from hotel - to top golf - to rest of property; I'm sure plenty of people would go to top golf from the parks and vice versa. Kind of like how they connect hotels in Vegas with walkways/trams etc.

Universal doesn't want people going to top golf/Andretti.

I figure, and I'm sure the casinos don't want guests going to the other places but if it makes it easier for guests to get around and you have the superior product.. although this would cause a parking nightmare at top golf though lol

Top Golf already doesn't have enough parking on busy nights.

I imagine most of the work is going to be done on the ground as seen in the video. They'll probably only need a crane for a rather short period of time considering how simple the build is.
I think the London eye was done like that, assembled on the ground, then lifted onto place.

These decorative curly chain connectors look so flimsy. I know they are probably not but geez, you won’t find me riding this thing. Too, is it me or are those seats really wide for really wide keasters?

Jeez, those seats too. If I'm 420 ft above the ground, I want to feel more supported than if I'm on a ski-lift...

Once they get going with putting this thing up, it should go up really quick. I expect it to be open within the next month or two at it's current stage and pace.
