Incredible Hulk Coaster Refurb

I heard a rumor/story the other day that the Hulk coaster track had been fabricated a while ago for another Universal park and was sitting in storage for several years. Supposedly they decided to rebuild from the ground up simply because they had it.

I laughed the idea off, but I suppose it COULD have been true. Can anyone definitely confirm that the track was fabricated recently and not something they had on hand?

I can't confirm but it looked like the track was being loaded right out of the factory on the trucks. I would not think they would store for a couple of years then ship it out.

Weren't there reports of it being seen on trucks in Ohio a day or so before arriving in Orlando?

I couldn't remember seeing any pictures of it leaving Ohio. but if someone can find them let me know. I want to prove this person wrong

I would write or call Universal or B&M and ask them. I cannot imagine they would consider it a secret.

That wind gust devastated the trees on my property so tread carefully. It also ruined the old park as well as Bok.

Here is another from Theme Park Insider who contacted Universal about rumors. They confirmed B&M was building it.

It was built last year by B&M. I believe they said they had two projects in 2016 in Orlando, which obviously means the track was in process of being done alongside Mako.

Isn't that kind of track crazy expensive to fabricate? Would it make any sort of sense to pay for it to be fabricated, and not use it? I'm guessing the story was that they were going to build a Hulk in another Universal park?

As a broad shouldered tall guy (around 6'4") with a tiny leg length (32"), I'm all torso.

I don't think a company would purchase a million dollar coaster without any signs of construction in the main site.

That was a faked staged picture. Done by the same people that did the fake landing on the moon that never happened. You imagined the whole thing.

I would think that track for a similar coaster in another park would not match ours exactly.

The new lockers concern me a little bit because they don't look tall enough for the refillable bottles to fit. I hope I'm wrong.
