Hey all,

Does anyone know the list of songs payed around US. I know a lot is generic pop music but even that seems the same Everytime like train drops of Jupiter in SF, and Michael Jackson's scream near MIB.

Does anyone have a definitive list including movie songs?

Thanks in advance.

-Sittin On the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding
-Whole New You - Shawn Colvin
-Every Little Thing He Does Is Magic - Shawn Colvin
-Drops of Jupiter - Train
-Pinch Me - Barenaked Ladies
-If I Had $1,000,000 - Barenaked Ladies

-Rock This Town - Stray Cats
-Running On Empty - Jackson Browne
-San Francisco - Scott McKenzie

I know there are more, it's a 1 hour and 17 minute loop...I'll add them as I remember them. The San Francisco soundtrack also plays in the Brown Derby hat shop in Hollywood, an area which just plays different versions of "Hooray for Hollywood", including an instrumental version, and some instrumental track that I'm not sure the name of.

I've been trying to look for all the tracks they play at the main entrance for a long time. Haven't found all of them yet.

I'm pretty sure the songs in the post jtsalien quoted is the extent of the Production Central music, however there is a live band that plays from park opening to around noon like four times a day, they play the Spider-Man theme, the Simpsons theme, Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend (instrumental), the Blues Brothers theme, andddd maybe one or two more.

What I mean is that there's a couple of tracks I've heard there that aren't listed here, and I just don't really have much of a way to find what those tracks are called.

Thank you for the response guys, much more detailed than I expected.

You guys are awesome

I knew I had seen this before!

And after a ton of digging, I found it. In this thread Teebin started about IOA music, burried deep is the following list:

Since when as Holiday been in Beetlejuice? I have even looked at videos on youtube of the show around 2011 and the final song way You Shook Me All Night Long. Or is it just a song that plays in the background not in the show. As if its in the show I need to see it.

Also you can add Green Day's Version of the simpsons theme to the Springfield, the one that was used for the movie.

Also not actually on topic but that Australian Simpsons credits version is horrible. Its more European then Australia.

You can try to Shazam it or Google the lyrics next time you hear the song(s).

The music I'm referring to is just instrumental film scores, so I can't do that.

Maybe next time I'm at the park I'll just take my camera, put it right next to one of the music speakers there, and record away.

If you have a smart phone, get the Shazam app! It uses your phone microphone to capture and analyze the song against their database of songs, and then give you the song title and artist.

That long list must be really old-there is no 5th Dimension in New York, and that is most definitely NOT the Liza Minelli version of Cabaret.

New York also has the gym dance number from the movie "West Side Story"; I believe it's Ella Fitzgerald singing Cheek To Cheek, it sounds like Jack Jones on The In Crowd, Mel Torme does Shine On Your Shoes, Frank Sinatra and Natalie Cole on another song (name escapes me now), The Entertainer, written by Scott Joplin, from The Sting (which, oddly enough, takes place in Chicago), Petula Clark sings Downtown, and a bunch of others I'm not sure about. I spent almost an entire year listening to that soundtrack day in and day out while Transformers was being built.

Also, in Shrek:

-Like Wow - Leslie Carter
-I'm A Believer - Smash Mouth (curiously enough, All-Star doesn't play anywhere in this area, just in the portion of the queue video where it replays the opening credits scene of the film)
-I'm A Believer - Eddie Murphy
-My Beloved Monster - Eels
-Bad Reputation - not by Joan Jett, but by a band called Halfcocked
-You Belong To Me - Jason Wade
-Best Years of Our Lives - Baha Men
-I'm On My Way - The Proclaimers
-Stay Home - Self
-Welcome to Duloc - as heard in the film
-Instrumental version of Robin Hood scene
-Two instrumental pieces from the film that I don't know the name of....one is slower and plays during the romantic scenes, the other is a bit more up-tempo and is played during adventure scenes and during the dragon chase in the ride film
