Netflix

A week after Iron Fist's cancellation, Luke Cage now joins the list of Marvel shows canceled.

That's hilarious considering the Netflix CCO said this yesterday about the Marvel content: "Those shows are for us to cancel, and we’re super happy with their performance so far."

With Luke Cage and Iron Fist cancelled now, it's the perfect opportunity to bring them together with a Heroes For Hire show.

This week on Netflix, brings with it two big shows.

The first, is the Second Season to the surprise hit animated show; Castlevania. The adaptation continues, with eight episodes on October 26th.

And the second, is a brand new take on the popular Sabrina The Teenage Witch, in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The new take on Sabrina, is based off of the Graphic Novel of the same name; as it will also launch on October 26th.

With November revealed, we now have dates for quite a few of the Originals coming to Netflix in the month.
  • House of Cards: Season Six (Final Season) - November 2nd
  • Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, Season 2 - November 2nd
  • She-Ra: November 16th
  • Narcos: Mexico - November 16th
  • Mystery Science Theater 3K: The Gauntlet - November 22nd
  • The Christmas Chronicles - November 22nd
  • F is For Family: Season 3 - November 30th

House of Cards has definitely gone down in quality but I'm still interested to see how they end the show, especially with the whole Kevin Spacey fiasco that went down.

The news of Neon Genesis Evangelion, is huge.

NGE, has never been on a public outlet for streaming of this size. And considering how influential NGE is for the industry (and it's story), it's going to be a treat to see a new generation be able to finally see this.

...I am interested if VIZ is going to be apart of the dubbing assistance, considering they revealed shortly after some NGE content coming along the way.

Sooo speaking to add more to yesterday's anime news...Netflix is making a Live Action Cowboy Bebop.

Shinichiro Watanabe will be on to consult, as EP1 is being written by Chris Yost (Thor Ragnarok)

ITV is making it...which thing also seems to suggest that Netflix also will pick up the live action One Piece show.

But this also helps drives that theory that anime is far from niche anymore especially with Netflix doing large scale announcements despite what GP may think.
