I'm trying desperately to find a copy of the TV documentary that was shown years ago, and clips of which keep appearing on Youtube.

Would be eternally gratefully and willing to be your humble servant if anyone would know where copies are available...?

The programme was called "Total Immersion: Theme Park for the 21st Century" and was about, surprisingly enough, IOA being designed and constructed.

Thanks in advance!

If you're lucky like me, you can find a torrent of this somewhere on the internet.

Any fan of IOA MUST see this. I repeat, MUST. It seems as if most of the documentary is available on Youtube, but I could not find the whole thing. Total Immersion offers great insight into how all of the lands were designed. My personal favorite parts include describing the Spiderman ride system, testing the Hulk back in 95, and creating the music for Seuss.

so is there any others we should know about out there?

all the good ones are about disney. i started on one but universal basically shot me down i managed to get an interview with brian brushwood and may turn it into a HHN documentary. http://www.vimeo.com/16093463

that said i bought a dvd from extinct attractions that was just one that they sold at the park in the 90s that you can find on ebay. awesome footage. its also on youtube in pieces. worth owning if you collect universal things though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqpEeH1HpYI

I've long wanted the full version of this too, didn't realise it still existed anywhere. Thanks Jokerman!!

I downloaded the file but am only getting audio. Any ideas?

You need to download the right video codecs, do a google search for "all in one video codec" download and install and you should be good to go

Its amazing how smooth the Hulk looks in that video compared to how rough it is today. The only NON rough part is the launch, the rest of it is a headache inducing nightmare.
