The mechanisms used on that coaster and guardians are the exact same. The big thing was Vekoma being able to make a "disk" that can pivot ride vehicles on command, which was a first for them. This is the same tech being used for both FLY and Guardians.

Sure, but the OP clearly wasn't talking about the "rotating" part when discussing the ride system. they meant the flying aspect.
 
Phantasialand once again showing Disney and Universal how it’s done. Probably why they send teams over no? Also definitely why this is one of my bucket list parks, what they pack into such a small footprint is nothing short of incredible.
 
F.L.Y. looks amazing and I really hope it inspires the construction of more flying coasters in the US - I feel like they've been really underappreciated here. (Probably because only B&M could make good ones)

If I didn't have a young child I would be making my way over to Phantasialand right now. Everything looks just so hyper detailed. The lack of space plays to their strengths.
