Do we know who did the new ride control system? Was it Dynamic Attractions?

According to this NoC, it looks like it’s Birket Engineering, the same company that did the original control system:

It did not go great. Lot of downtime. They’re presumably making further adjustments now.

Considering this refurb was a big replacement of software/tech components, that's to be expected. In ways, it's like it's a whole new ride again which is bound to run into kinks and needs adjusting here and there. It's also a good reason why a hard reopening date was never given, since stuff like this can happen.

Does anyone know if this ended up operating during Music After Dark, the Maroon 5 event? I saw it was still listed as an attraction that would be open a few days before the event took place.

Doubt it - Transformers/MIB/Gringotts are typically walk-ons during HHN and might pick up Mummy's demand.

They also probably don't like the idea of throwing hundreds of guests straight into a scare zone after each show.
Didn't think of that actually. In the same vein on Fallon, if they could re-route some stuff ET could open as well.
