Do we know who did the new ride control system? Was it Dynamic Attractions?

According to this NoC, it looks like it’s Birket Engineering, the same company that did the original control system:

September starts next weekend and still not a peep about reopening.

Time to rev up the worry!

It did not go great. Lot of downtime. They’re presumably making further adjustments now.

Considering this refurb was a big replacement of software/tech components, that's to be expected. In ways, it's like it's a whole new ride again which is bound to run into kinks and needs adjusting here and there. It's also a good reason why a hard reopening date was never given, since stuff like this can happen.

Does anyone think they could at least go virtual queue on this to add some limited capacity while working some bugs out?

I’d think they’d open some other attraction for HHN instead of this if it isn’t 100% ready to go.

That would suck, if this isn't open in time for HHN. What would the replacement ride be?

The "replacement" would probably just be Simpsons actually being noted on the map and operating til closing every night.

Does anyone know if this ended up operating during Music After Dark, the Maroon 5 event? I saw it was still listed as an attraction that would be open a few days before the event took place.

Simpsons. I think Fallon should open if they manage a way to move house queues/entrances.

I'm curious if they'd end up opening Bourne during HHN. Was T2:3D ever open during HHN?

Doubt it - Transformers/MIB/Gringotts are typically walk-ons during HHN and might pick up Mummy's demand.

They also probably don't like the idea of throwing hundreds of guests straight into a scare zone after each show.

Didn't think of that actually. In the same vein on Fallon, if they could re-route some stuff ET could open as well.
