At Cinemacon, details have finally come out for the Sam Mendes Tetralogy based on The Beatles. The Tetralogy, will be a series of films all shot back/back/back/back, intended for a global 2028 April release for all four films. Sony has indicated that they wish to make the month of April entirely theirs, and will be going at great lengths to ensure they have dominance during the month with all four Beatles films.

Alongside this, the cast of the Tetralogy's main 4 have been announced, and each will lead their respective film.
Paul - Paul Mescal
George - Joseph Quinn
Ringo - Berry Keoghan
Lennon - Harris Dickinson

All four films begin production next year and Tim Rothman has additionally talked about making the four films a "Event" in the process.

Four films in one month is either a brilliant idea... or somebody's getting fired.

It's a lift to get the general audience to go to the cinema once in a month.

I’ve always thought a trilogy, especially for a horror film, 3 weeks in a row could be a wonderful, and economically successful event film. It just has to be for the right film and well executed. What a fun date night to plan for 3 weeks with your partner/spouse? Especially if they offer bundled ticket prices.

That’s all being hopeful, of course.
