I have enjoyed quite a few meals and will be enjoying Thanksgiving Day Dinner here. It's a great room and the food and service have always been exemplary.

That said, it never screamed "Emeril's" to me. My dream would be to get an honest to God Trader Vic's.

I talked to our waiter on Thanksgiving about the closure. He said Universal Creative has been crawling all over the place. No clue what it will be, but thinks it will be a Universal creation, and not a chain like Palm.

Apparently the Citywalk location got a renewal on their lease some time not too long ago. It's nice since they are the only ones allowed to have happy hour in Citywalk.

Sure- Roys would be solid- very similar cuisine to Tchoup chop. Not sure if they just need a place to serve food, or if theyre actually going to think "themed" or not.

So far, most everything they've touched has turned out to be better than the original. BUT Tchoup Tchoup will be hard to beat. I loved that place for Happy Hour and the appetizer specials.

Agreed, minus Voodoo and Cowfish...It seems to make more sense...Especially for the hotels

I really want a great Asian restaurant...Don't care if it is Thai, Indian, whatever
