Looks like this will be the biggest game awards yet! Looking forward to seeing all the announcements, performances and awards.

I"m thinking we will get another Smash DLC character announcement.

I hope God of War wins everything it's nominated for.

Fornite will win a lot of awards as well.

Seems like all my predictions came through

New smash character
God of war for GOTY
fortnight for OGOTY

What was this about a Metroid trilogy again?

So, the new Far Cry game is super-similar to Rage 2. Why in Gods name is it coming out so early?! The fifth game just released a couple of months ago.
It’s continuing Ubi’s “interstitial” sort of games between proper Far Cry games. Far Cry 3 had Blood Dragon, 4 had Primal, and 5 now has New Dawn.

Each game uses the same map, just with a new textures loaded. They also use them to experiment with new ideas without risking their numerical sequels. I REALLY enjoyed Blood Dragon, and I’m intrigued by New Dawn since it’s a continuation of 5.

So in the span of a night,
  • ATLUS Ltd. has a character for Smash Bros
  • Bioware teases the return to Dragon Age
  • Annapurna kicks ass
  • Marvel Ultimate Alliance rises from it's 10 year tombstone
  • Epic is kicking ass
  • RDR 2 lost the Game of The Year award to Dad of War
That's..that's a good night.
