MGM is going forward with a sequel, to the video game film Tomb Raider starring Alicia Vikander.

Ben Wheatley Direct Alicia Vikander Tomb Raider Sequel; MGM March 19, 2021 – Deadline

Ben Wheatley will be tapped to direct, as Alicia is back on-board for a March 19th, 2021 release date.

Interesting. I guess MGM doesn’t have a ton more going for them so why not.

They better make it under a reasonable budget though.

I actually quite enjoy Tomb Raider.
