Didn't know really where to put this but I happened to be walking past the tv when on Fox news, they started talking about universal dropping health care for part time workers. They only showed pictures from Orlando but I just though it was a bit interesting.

As far as I know most places in CA don't offer health benefits to part time workers, so good job to universal for offering it in the first place. We didn't get health benefits at Disney unless we were full time!

Well not in Hollywood. Regular part-time employees are still being offered health care benefits.

Probably USF only.

That's what I was thinking because they only showed pictures from USF. I found it odd though that that they said it was "Universal" instead of Universal theme park our something along those lines.

I saw this story yesterday. Here's a link: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nbcuniversal-scrap-part-time-health-422933

Not surprised they bunched up Universal as one group. Many people have problem differentiating between the different subsidiaries of NBCUniversal.

Good for Hollywood though.

Welcome to the news and how they generalize everything just to make a story.  Never believe anything you hear on the news unless you have personal experience with it.
