Wonder if they might incorporate tricks like the drops seen on both Hagrid's and Gringrots.

That was the original idea, but I think this new one might be a little more straight forward.

And I'm surprisingly okay with that! So long as the scenic and vibes are strong and the coaster layout is enjoyable, I think this could still be something special. I don't need any crazy tricks like Hagrids or Everest; a solid themed coaster like Big Thunder or Space would be enough for myself.

Yeah and not saying there won’t be any, just it’s moved away from a Hagrid like when they made the dark ride the e ticket.

Aren’t both the attractions considered E tickets?

The Wrap article was the only info we got about the dark ride getting more prominent focus/investment.

However it’s not considered a viable source and was just speculation/rumors.

Maybe? Not sure, just using short hand to explain the scopes of the rides switched due to LLSP profits.
