Based off the documentary, Marwencol, (Highly recommend), Steve Carrell plays Mark Hogancamp, a man who was beaten up so badly by 6 men outside a bar (for being a crossdresser) to the point he suffered heavy brain damage back in 2000. In order to cope and deal with PTSD and stress, he created a world of dolls in his backyard that lead to the creation of some extremely beautiful artwork from the photos he took.

Robert Zemeckis of Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and Cast Away fame, brings his story to life on screen in this Live Action/Animated and touching film come to theatres this Christmas.
