Try working in a park and grouping a party of 150 brazilians...standing in line with them is the easy part.

That reminds me of the joke where President Bush is told 3 brazilian soldiers were killed and he is super depressed then he asks how many is a brazilian lol

People who have no choice but to taste the Hogs Head brew at 9 am because that's the only time they can get into WWOHP, lol.

Hey guys :) I've been lurking around here for a while, and thought since everything was getting pretty exciting, I might as well post something!
So obviously I'm bouncing in my seat waiting for WWoHP to open...we all are. I just have a few questions.
1) I've never been to a grand opening for a theme park, since I am not originally from FL, and the opportunities were scarce. I live about an hour away from Universal and have an AP, and I was wondering what time would be wise to arrive. I've been thinking eight in the morning, but as I've read more and more, maybe I need to rethink this...Any suggestions?

2) I remember seeing news stories on Mugglenet about cast members making appearances at the GO. Is there any truth to this? I know the Phelps twins (who I adore) said they were going on their Twitter accounts, but do we have any official confirmation? I had originally heard that Oliver & James Phelps, Bonnie Wright, and Tom Felton were going to be present...I'd just like to know if we have solid proof of their attendance...

Thanks very much!

Apparently Felipe is really exhausted since he hasn't gotten on since last night to post his report. I will watch that video when Hub gets back home with his phone. My laptop has no sound which wouldn't work considering you don't see a whole lot.

Hmmm... I am, for the time being, disappointed. I am sure that it is cool being whipped around in the dark but the physical effects all look like broken Yeti strobe scenes to me. Every one of them were broken Yeti scenes on video. Prior to the strobe, it appears that you can barely see anything physical. That sucks. The idea was good, but the results are just strobe junk hiding what didn't work, wasn't finished or something the subcontractor failed on. It screams of Eisner's Dinosaur... "dim the lights more, More, MORE, Turn them OFF, yeah... that's great... what a great ride"! The visuals are so appealing now.

In Dinosaurs defense, it still is a great attraction. Wait till you take a spin on it before placing judgement on it.

I'd say it's not as dark as dinosaur. The video screens aren't dark at all, but I guess dark enough that the camer couldn't pick them up.

Teebin said:
Aaaah... so you took the video. Question, is this ride as dark as Dinosaur? It looks like you cannot see much of anything most of the time.... even the projections looked dim. Is that the camera or is the whole thing Dinosaur?

I'd advise partaking in the said attraction before proclaiming disdain based upon a rather poor quality "POV" video.

Ah... well stay with us MattBoom... because I have been waiting for your response and issued my statement as you had not replied. So, could you see the dragon, spider, tunnels, whomping willow, and other physical effects before and after the strobe went off? Were they highly clear and visible?

I'm still hoping that my brother is able to ride. If anyone who tries to ride is of the "Fluffy" category, please post here and let us know if you were able to ride.

I have been on the ride and can happily say that all of the scenes are perfectly clear and visible. At no time during the ride did I feel that there was anything like the "yeti effect".

Everything is highly visible. The camera used was a pocket camera with a strap. A better camera couldn't be used because of its size and being unsecured.

Sorry I'm taking so long with the report and pics... pictures are uploading and taking forever to do so...

Is this about FJ? It seems so... could we not post anything about the FJ ride on here, please? I'm not caught up on here yet, but I just saw this and I really don't want to see FJ ride spoilers... so if there's some spoilers on this thread now let me know so I can stay away until I ride FJ. It's the one thing I don't wanna know anything about until I ride it myself.

That's the only spoilerish thing in this thread ATM.

We are under the impression that you went on the ride today Felipe. Did you not?

Thank you Mr. MattBoom. I will reserve my judgment and hope in this case then.

Felipe went yesterday to WW and the ride broke down right before he got on. So unfortunately he hasn't ridden it yet. Not to answer for you Felipe or anything.
