Hope you like AA's because there is more than I originally thought. 2 were originally cut due to a few things. But this ride will have a good amount of AA's.

I have heard there will only be one Kong AA, and in pretty much the last scene, (to essentially wave bye bye). Is that true, and don't you think people will be somewhat disappointed after being promised so many AAs? I get that there will be other creatures earlier on, but people are going to think Kong when you say AA.

Me personally, I love the screens, so I don't mind, but isn't Kong just gonna be screened based for much of this attraction, other than one appearance at the end? Or have they added more since I last heard?

Just one Kong AA to my knowledge, but there will be plenty of other creatures that will use next-gen tech. I can't wait to see them in person. Should be great.

Kong may also just have one AA, but nobody will be disappointed by this beast.

Note the change in height of the building ;-)

Thanks shrek for the awesome stuff, you rock. I'm actually pretty happy we are getting one really big and great kong AA over a bunch of crappy ones or arms and legs. Quality over quantity, will make the sight of seeing the giant gorilla in person again more breathtaking then let's say jaws in the final scene. Also hell yes for more creatures, absolutely beyond pumped for this. Any word if it's 3D or not?

I'm pretty sure the coaster art is for the cancelled Dubai park. The inverted coaster was supposed to be a deuling coaster with the cars themed to the bat creatures. I'm not sure we should be assuming any of the concept art is actually for this attraction or any attractions at UOR.

Good call. And if it were actually for UOR, posing for a picture in front of a whole bunch of concept art seems like a great way to kill a healthy relationship with one of your most high-profile customers. I doubt an oversight like this would happen...but the apparent "King Kong" wording on a blueprint in the background? That screams either "oops!" or "intentional tease" to me.

Nice job on banning the troll, Hate. Back to the fun, respectful conversation about the King of the Jungle!

Screamscape is still saying it's 3D.

I mean, the first ride only had 2 Kong AAs, so it's not like it's that much different. Plus, this one is going to have a bunch of other physical creatures. So win-win

Sorry if this has been repeated, but I thought I had heard the outdoor portion was going over the water retention area. Is that not the case?

No. The outdoor portion is in the beginning near the JP path

Cars is a movie of "dubious quality" and Cars Land turned out pretty well.

Exactly. This is what people fail to understand much of the time.

IPs are used to draw people in and be used as a way to tell a story that people know and sort of speed up the creative process by cutting down time spent on thinking of ideas.

If a ride is good, a ride is good, it really has nothing to do with IP. A bad IP can make a great ride and a good original ride concept can make a bad ride if not executed properly. It's all about the ride itself and the story telling, the IP means very little besides drawing people in as far as how good the ride will be.

To be honest, can a post really be informative when one simply repeats what's already been said? Hence Hate's comment. In fact I think Shrek said less then what's already been revealed.

Lol! Actually I think most people here are quite friendly, which is why I like it here, you all seem pretty cool :)

Also, since someone (the banned one I think) that the outdoor thing seems to small, to me it seems sizable enough, and since it has already been said that the ride won't move fast the outdoor part should be quite enjoyable.

Yep, and the big mystery that remains is how they will hide the outdoor ride portions from the intersection of Toon and JP. It will be so cool to see what happens next.
